WARNING: VIOLENCE, BlOOD AND SEXUAL CONTENT AHEAD
After Jooha and Dan left for home, Jaekyung received a notification from Wooju on his phone. Opening the message, Jaekyung's eyes widened as he read about the incident at the bar from a week ago. A mix of remorse and urgency surged within him, knowing he had to address the situation immediately.
"Sorry guys, I have something to do. You guys go ahead, dinner on me next time."
" Jaeky-"
Jaekyung ran to his car and drove away before he could speak.
"I really hope he doesn't do anything bad," Dooshik said worryingly.
"Right..." Seungho sighed.
Jaekyung's hands gripped the steering wheel tightly as he drove with urgency, his mind focused on the location Wooju had sent him. As he left the city centre behind, the fading sunlight gave way to the darkness of the night. The worn-out road stretched before him, leading to an isolated area far from the bustling streets.
Finally arriving at the designated location, Jaekyung parked his sports car nearby, its engine purring softly as he turned it off. He glanced around, noticing the desolate surroundings and the small, dilapidated house in the distance. He found the small house of that old man who spiked the drink of Dan. It stood as a solitary figure against the night sky, its aura evoking a sense of mystery and trepidation.
Without hesitation, Jaekyung opened the car door and stepped out, his footsteps echoing in the stillness. The air was heavy with anticipation as he made his way towards the old, dirty house. Nervousness mingled with determination as he approached the weathered fence, its rusty metal protesting under his weight as he jumped over it.
As he landed on the other side, Jaekyung's senses heightened. The darkness enveloped him, illuminated only by the faint glow of the moon. The crunch of gravel beneath his shoes echoed through the silence as he neared the entrance of the house.
The door was locked, the only way he could enter was through the backyard. Jaekyung cautiously stepped inside, his eyes adjusting to the dimly lit interior. The air smelled musty and stale, and the sound of his heartbeat seemed to reverberate through the empty rooms. He tried looking to see if the man was inside.
He moved further into the house, his steps careful and deliberate. The floorboards creaked beneath his weight, adding an eerie soundtrack to his exploration. Dust particles danced in the slivers of moonlight that filtered through the cracked windows.
As Jaekyung explored the house, his senses were suddenly assaulted by a putrid odour that permeated the air. The source of the stench became apparent as he traced it to a locked room. Time was of the essence, and the thought of searching for keys seemed impractical given the urgency of the situation.
With a firm resolve, Jaekyung made a quick decision. His tall and strong figure lent him the physical advantage needed to break down the door. Summoning his strength, he positioned himself, ready to exert force upon the decrepit barrier that stood between him and the truth.
With a powerful thrust, the door splintered and gave way, releasing a cloud of dust into the air. Jaekyung coughed, trying to clear his throat as he entered the room. The combination of dust and the foul odour intensified, assaulting his senses and causing him to wince.
As Jaekyung's eyes adjusted to the dim red lighting in the room, his disgust intensified.
"What the fuck?"
The sight before him was a macabre collection of items, each one hinting at a disturbing truth. His gaze fell upon a disarray of different undergarments, used tissues, and torn pieces of clothing, seemingly remnants of the victims who had suffered in this place.
