Ch.25 Confrontation

"I am tired."

As Dan sat alone on his bed, exhaustion weighing heavily on his shoulders, his thoughts turned to Jaekyung. Despite his weariness, a deep longing stirred within him, a longing born out of the profound love he felt for his partner.

They had shared countless moments of joy, laughter, and support, forming a connection that had grown stronger with each passing day. But as the days passed without Jaekyung's presence, Dan's heart ached with a sense of emptiness.

Despite his exhaustion, Dan couldn't help but long for Jaekyung's comforting presence. Just the thought of their shared moments brought a bittersweet smile to his face, a reminder of the depth of their affection that still lingered.Every memory of their time together flooded Dan's mind like a cherished film reel, each moment etched with emotion and significance. He could almost feel the warmth of Jaekyung's hand in his own as they talked for hours on end, or the adrenaline rush when they embarked on wild adventures together. 

"I like you," Dan remembered the words Jaekyung spoke to him with such sincerity.Standing under the cascading water of the shower, Dan couldn't contain his overwhelming emotions any longer. The sound of the rushing water melded with his sobs, creating a symphony of pain and longing that only he could hear. It was in this private moment that Dan allowed himself to truly feel everything he had been holding back.

Tears streamed down Dan's face, mixing with the droplets from the shower. Each drop carried a fragment of his love for Jaekyung, a testament to the depth of his yearning. The water provided a temporary refuge, where he could release his pent-up emotions in solitude.

The warmth of the shower hugged him tightly, providing some comfort amidst the storm of emotions. However, deep inside, the longing for Jaekyung remained, like an unquenchable fire that refused to die down. Yet, as Dan slowly calmed himself and exhaled deeply, a sense of numbness settled over him. He knew that he couldn't stay in this state forever; he had to find solace and strength to face the day ahead without Jaekyung by his side.
