Ch.15 It's getting hot in here.

"Friend huh?"

As Jaekyung asked Dan again whether they were truly just friends or something more, Dan's face turned as red as a tomato. He looked away, feeling a mix of surprise and guilt. He hadn't anticipated that Jaekyung would be so affected by his words. Does Jaekyung actually feel for him or is he playing with him? Was he jealous? The thought of Jaekyung being jealous made Dan blush.

"I... I'm sorry, Jaekyung," Dan stammered, his voice filled with genuine regret. "I didn't realize that it would matter to you."

 As Jaekyung and Dan walked closer to the campus, a mix of curiosity and fear filled Jaekyung's mind. He couldn't help but wonder if Dan still had feelings for Heesung, but the thought of hearing the answer scared him. Uncertainty lingered in the air, causing Jaekyung to remain silent, unsure of how to approach the sensitive topic.

"Of course baby, you matter to me."

Jaekyung leaned closer. " Everything about you matters to me, sweetheart."

Dan nodded, his blush still evident on his face. "I understand, Jaekyung. Let's talk about this more outside the lecture hall when my class is finished. I promise I'll make it up to you."

"Okay I will wait for you sweetheart."

With that, Dan hurriedly ran off, feeling a mix of embarrassment and eagerness to resolve the misunderstanding. Such a flirt Jaekyung is.

He almost tripped over an uneven pavement. His foot caught on the edge, causing him to stumble forward, narrowly avoiding a fall.

Jaekyung, who had been watching Dan's hasty retreat, couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sight. He found Dan's momentary clumsiness endearing, a reminder of the playful and adorable side of his personality.

"Careful there, clumsy baby," Jaekyung teased, a warm smile spreading across his face. "You nearly had a grand entrance there!"

Dan's cheeks flushed with a mixture of embarrassment and amusement. He sheepishly grinned back at Jaekyung, realizing how comical the situation must have appeared.

During the lecture, Dan found himself distracted, his thoughts consumed by Jaekyung and the incident that had taken place at the cafe. He couldn't deny the growing feelings he had developed for him, and a sense of unease started to settle within him.

As the lecture continued, Dan struggled to concentrate, his mind wandering back to their interactions, replaying moments shared between them. He analyzed every detail, searching for signs that Jaekyung might feel the same way. Yet, doubts clouded his thoughts, reminding him of the potential risks and complications that lay ahead.

As Dan's class came to a close, he walked out of the lecture hall and was greeted by the sight of Jaekyung standing outside, emanating an undeniable air of handsomeness. As people began to pour out of the lecture hall, they couldn't help but be taken aback by Jaekyung's striking appearance.

 The students and passersby turned their heads, their gazes lingering on him, surprised to see one of the most good-looking and popular individuals on campus in their midst.

Whispers and murmurs filled the air as Jaekyung became the centre of attention. People exchanged glances, nudging each other in disbelief, as they tried to reconcile the image of the charismatic Jaekyung with their own preconceived notions. 

His magnetism seemed to captivate both male and female onlookers, leaving them momentarily stunned.

Amidst the growing curiosity and admiration, Jaekyung remained composed. While the crowd marvelled at Jaekyung's striking features, his attention was drawn to one person in particular—Dan.
