It's been six days with my new diet and it's safe to say that they're practically starving me. I get one meal at six o'clock in the afternoon, it's mostly veg and salad. Nothing with substance, when I wake up my stomach growls and I've never felt so lightheaded.
They've even restricted my water intake which is ridiculous because my tongue feels like stinging nettles.
Grayson has been angry ever since he saw my first food portion. He almost kicked off at my father and charged into the kitchen to demand that something would be done about this, but we both know it won't get him anywhere.
The only person who has any power is my father, the King. A title he doesn't even deserve and never will.
But today is the fifth day that Grayson has brought me up breakfast on the sly. He gets up super early to make us both a delicious meal and brings it up to my room as soon as the door unlocks. I've never been so grateful in my life.
Today it's eggs benedict with bacon, my favourite.
We sit and eat on my bed, I chew with pure happiness. I'm sure my mother and father are going to be fuming when they realise I don't lose weight as fast as they want me to, especially with Grayson's secret meals.
He's honestly saved me these last couple of days. Being hungry and not being allowed to eat is painful. It's a constant battle inside your mind that you're okay, that you don't need to eat. But when your stomach flips and growls and makes you feel nauseous due to the lack of nutrients, it's hard to convince yourself that you're okay.
