Diane's POV: As we pulled into the unknown home I looked around, a pebbled driveway, perfect yard. The house was huge, I knew there had to be at least 8 rooms inside, maybe more. I turned my head, looking at Greg in the drivers seat.

"You ready baby?" He smiled, placing his hand on my thigh. I nodded nervously, "Hey, don't be nervous. He's a really cool guy. You'll like him!"

I nodded, "I know, I'm just nervous is all." I kissed his cheek gently. "I love you."

"I love you too baby." He lifted my chin up, pulling me in for a quick kiss. We kissed for a long moment and the exited the car, he grabbed the bottle of Chardonnay and I carried the bag of dessert I had cooked, just a chocolate cake, dense and flavorful. We walked up his pebbled steps, I stayed back watching Greg knock open the door. We walked inside, the house was lit up, numerous photos on the walls, beautiful architecture. It was astounding. Quickly, I froze seeing the man that was coming towards us. Oh fuck. My heart dipped to my stomach, seeing Marshall stand before me. My hands began to sweat as I tried to hold in my composure. Just breathe, Diane. Just breathe.

"Marshall, this is my wife Diane." Greg smiled at him. Marshall nodded and I stared, emotionless into his eyes. He slowly put out his hand, eyebrows furrowed. "Nice to meet you..."

I hesitated for a moment, not even wanting to touch him. I held my breath and shook his hand  it gently. I quickly let go and held onto Greg's hand tightly, "Nice to meet you..."

We all began walking into the kitchen, I stayed back and followed behind Greg and Paul. I suddenly felt Marshall's hand on the back of my dress, pulling me back.

"You're gonna owe me a fucking explanation. Got it?" I nodded and slowly walked away. I found my seat next to my husband and sat down. I popped the bottle of Chardonnay and Greg took it, pouring me a glass.

Greg poured himself a glass of wine and gestured a glass to Marshall,

"I don't drink anymore, but I appreciate it man." He smiled.

"Oh shit I'm sorry, I didn't even think about it Marshall. My apologies!" Greg looked at me then back at Marshall. Jesus, he's clean. He wouldn't want anything like that near him. I sighed at my husbands stupidity.

"Don't worry about it! It's all good," He chuckled.

"Well once again, thank you for inviting me and D to your place Marshall. We both appreciate it!" Greg smiled.

"Well, I wanted to get to know you more, since you're working as my engineer. I wanna make you feel comfortable." Marshall replied. glaring me down. I ignored Marshall's glare and began eating, being quiet.

"So Diane! I heard you're a dancer?" Paul asked, finally sitting down at the long table, next to Greg.

I  nodded, "I work as an exotic dancer down at a club for work. Been dancing for over 15 years, but at the club, I'm working at I've been there 4 years."

"Damn! What's the club called?" Porter smiled,

"Players Gentlemen's Club, on 8-mile road..." I replied, taking a long sip of my wine.

"I've been there a few times! So has Marshall! Haven't you?" Porter asked smiling over at him.

"Yep. Many times." He replied glaring at Porter, then turned to me. "So Diane, your husband Greg has been helping me with a new album I'll be putting out soon."

"Is that so?" I asked.

"He's been doing a great job technically with helping in the studio. You should be proud of him."
