Nia was intouble and I had to think fast I had to get her out of here soon! I wasn't about to wait until these fake ass polices tried to convict her of murder, I knew she didn't mean it but was running away going to change anything? Nope but shit it's worth a chance...

"Give me the gun I'm get rid of the shit" She handed the gun and her bloody clothes to dav as he took it wrapping it with a towel
" im keep it with me for now"

He grabbed the remote turning on the television black woman shot and killed a man inside a lobby hotel the cameras was experiencing issues the manger disclosed so the images was kind of blurry and it definitely looked premeditated by the lame ass angle of the video of her "where close to finding out if you know this information speak up! The news reporter said angrily if you know who this is call 1800 515 2345!
"Omggg thatss me on the news what the fuck!"

"Chill they don't even know it's you look at them broke ass cameras Nah you straight you probably should go back to normal life b don't act suspicious you didn't do shit remember no face no case"

She smiled for the first time sense this happened

"I've never had to kill before"

"It's different when you have to do it fuck him he lucky you got e'm first bitch ass!"

She laughed you crazy  "if this gets out it could ruin my reputation as a lawyer"

"Look nia it won't get out you was with me the whole time alright that video could be anybody right you bugging your secret safe wit me always I'm uh street Nigga this shit don't phase me I've done things too that's all I'm say...your next move need to be your best move ma."

He turns the channel to something more uplifting and funny Martin coming on

"Omg I love Martin and cole! Been a fan" Nia shouted smiling

"Is that right?! That's wassup yeah Martin crazy funny he be wilding I think the funniest dude on the show is brother man he be coming outta nowhere in shit!"They laughed

"since you a fan name everybody on the show then" he smirked laughing

Nia slowly laid her head on his shoulder while he rambled on and on about Martin he was talking, and didn't realized they both fell asleep on the couch With her head on his shoulder and her eyes closed and his cheekbone resting against her forehead.

Two hours later he woke up looking around he quietly set up with a confused yet content look on his face because nia head was resting on him comfortably she didn't realized she had fallen asleep, Dave kissed her softly on her forehead stroking her hair waking her, She woke up squinting her eyes and yawning they looked at each other passionately not breaking eye contact naturally they both leaned forward kissing each other softly but they paused for a second as if something was telling them to stop. She kissed his soft lips back sliding her gentle hands across his lap and he did not stop her it wasn't unusual but the way it happened so naturally it was like that's what they both needed was each other.

She had this look in her face of love and also afraid of loosing his respect so she stopped herself

"You have nothing to worry about nia, I will do anything to protect you and I'm not tryna be weird I'm just saying I'll go to battle for you". She smiled "And I would go to battle for you"
"I know you would I'm never letting you out my sight again last time I did that look what happen" Dave replied "shut up I know maybe I was wrong for breaking his heart he became crazy" she put her head down feeling regretful "Nah you just was doing what you thought was right, and now you know you gotta learn and grow from it obviously he was a bitch and had no backbone" he laughs
"Yeah he was in love with me I guess that what love do?"
"Shit I wouldn't know, I don't want no women playing wit my feelings the way you did that nigga" he smiled showing off his perfect set of white teeth
"Well you can't compare yourself to everybody dave because I wouldn't" "yeah that's what they all say" she looked around feeling dissed in a way
"Okay never mind dave forget it"
"Why you getting salty?"
"Because you make me feel like I'm just everybody else"
"And if that's the case why you think I'm here trying to save you? Like think about it". "I know I guess I'm not use to anyone caring about me the way you do dave"
"well just say dat then but don't make it seem like a nigga don't care"
"I know now come here hold me please?" Nia asked needing his comfort
He got up grabbed a blanket out of the closet closing the closet door and two pillows he looked at her and told her to get up and come in the room so they could sleep on the bed comfortably since the couch wasn't the best for his size he was a tall guy. She followed behind him holding his hand as he leaded the way the funny thing is sex was the last thing on his mind the only thing was on his mind was comforting her like a woman needed

"Why you looking at me like that?" She asked
"like how?"
"Like you love me"
He just smiled
