I was laying in bed. Couldn't sleep I was actually happy that kiesha needy ass went home because I usually didn't like women staying the night.

he walked in the kitchen opened the refrigerator and pulled out the henny pouring it in his glass.
Closing his eyes enjoying the feeling. Looking around at the beautiful home he created out of nothing, yea he remember them days. Being poor wasn't something new to him, the struggle is what made him though.

He remembered after Nia got taken away they stayed in touch on and off over the years he even recalled that time she turned seventeen when she got on the bus and came to his house to see him one summer she was doing bad, he would still sneak her in his home sometimes when he could.

She aged out of the foster care to him she was still beautiful as ever he knew that summer things would change. But this summer she had grew up and went through puberty and a lot of dudes wanted her. His body was going through changes too which he didn't understand but for some reason he started to see her differently. It was after the party niah walked in ...on his 16th birthday

I need to text nia I left the party when I should of made sure she was straight! He took out his phone dialing her number she answered on the first ring
"Hey Dave, wassup?" Her voice groggy and tired 

"I'm just checking on you, my bad for dipping out, I'm making sure you straight In shit"

"Yeah I was wondering why you dipped out but you was kind of faded especially during our dance"

"Why I had to be drunk?? He laughed I was enjoying you girl I had a fun night with you Nia real shit"

"I mean I had fun with you too but why you calling me so late? it's 12 o'clock you know booty call hours Nigga"

"Ummm I woke up you was on My mind so I called you couldn't sleep"

Sometimes he would call her in the middle of the nite because she helped him to ease his mind from his troubles

"Mmmmm, don't tell me you still having nightmares like you did back in the day"

"Yeaaa, I know that's because we go way back to them old days, childhood and teen years you came along way Dave"

"Hmmmm I want to forget she laughed don't mention that please!

What are we doing? I never done this before nia looked at him embarrassingly I mean I've never done it either, they stared at each other as they both sat on his bed you take off your clothes and I'll take off mine

He pulled down his underwear and she just stared at it amazed by his size I mean they were still in high school And she did the same he never seen a girl naked before But he was glad that it was with her. He reached in his drawer grab the old condom that he had on wrong and put it in her slowly as she groaned She wrapped her Arms around his neck kissing him his body when through something he couldn't explain but it felt good because it was with her After that he got scared and ghosted nia he thought it may change things... they never spoke of it again he snapped out of it

"You was my first nia we was hella young and inexperienced"

"Yeah and I remember you broke my little heart too, you was dating all the girls including a woman named mya in a few others in the neighborhood after that like I didn't matter"

"Nah, it wasn't even like that but I was young I didn't know anything about girls"

"Excuses, excuses she laughed Naw yeah, she changed the subject so how is life treating you?"

"Its good, Want you come by tomorrow let's link up at my crib"

"Alright I know you miss me "

It was weird because he usually didn't have women over unless he was smashing but shit with her he just wanted her company he couldn't understand why

"Fuck it just come now"

"Come over at this time a nite are you crazy?!"

"Yeah just a little you can sleep here I got a extra room"

He went in the bathroom and took a shower he wanted to always be fresh regardless who was over hygiene was always a priority on his list He jumped in the shower lathering the soap all over his muscular body, while the mist appeared in the bathroom from the steamy hot water. He relaxed enjoying the moment and taking his time. He got out applied cologne and lotion to his body throwing on a outfit then he heard the door ring he opened it to see nia at the door...

He embraced her with a long hug holding her tightly she hugged him back too laying her head on his chest because Dave was towering over her

Nia pov
I could smell the scent of his misty cologne he smelled expensive I don't know what he was wearing but it smelled manly in refreshing I think it's Gucci and he looked handsome of course maybe it was his eyes they had so much pain in them

She looked around amazed by his home it was beautiful and modern with pictures of Tupac and biggie on the walls with his mother pictures on the walls even our picture!

"Wait a minute I can't believe you still have this picture!" She looked surprised holding the picture frame in her hand it gave her butterflies it was sweet

"Of course I do, I got hella pictures in my house"

Then there was a picture of Keisha she rolled her eyes

"I warmed up some leftovers I thought we could eat oh and that picture you lookin at her ass left it here" he laughed the shit women would do to keep another woman from fucking you

"I'm not really hungry I don't usually eat this late" she laughed but I'll take a couple bites of yours

"Here," he took the fork digging it in the lasagna feeding it to her she stuffed her mouth licking her lips, the flavor was so damn good she suddenly was hungry

"Damn this is amazing, you can cook I mean you almost can make lasagna better then me, she chucked her lips turning into a smile

"I hope you not tryna brag cuz I can really give you some cooking pointers ma" they both laughed because nia couldn't cook for shit but she was hella school smart which he loved

She laughed, "Nah my skills are way better now she took the fork out of his hand feeding him

She sipped her wine and he took some shots of Hennessy Cognac
they talked all nite and she listened to him. Nobody ever listened She didn't mind it at all she loved hearing him talk rather it was about the streets or him she never got bored with his conversation, she loved that deep tone in his voice.
