Chapter 15: Beloved Earth

I couldn't believe we had our mission accomplished! We all couldn't believe we had our mission accomplished! It was all just so unbelievable. It was 7:03am. Wait! Why is it only 7am? It sounded more like a three day adventure.

"Time goes slower on Earth when we go to Frestildia," Lada explained. The solar system just works that way."

"Oh!" I said. "Thanks for telling me, Lada!"

"You're welcome!" She replied.

Okay! So it was almost sunrise. I had to go back home before my family got suspicious.

I said bye to Chloe, Zoey, Amilya, Lada and of course Avery. I hugged each one of them. I felt really happy for Amilya and Lada. They got to see their parents after four and a half months! I gave Avery a high five and went back home before her parents woke up.

I ran all the way home, I couldn't wait to get home. I never missed my brothers this much.

Once I got home, I quickly went to my room to finish what I was writing in my diary, but in much more detail this time. After that, I texted Avery:

Tooba N: Hey! What are you doing?

Avery C: Writing in my diary about what happened! What are you doing?

Tooba N: Writing in my diary about what happened! 😁

Avery C: Wanna hang out sometime?

Tooba N: Dunno. 🤔

Avery C: Tomorrow afternoon?

Tooba N: Sure?

Avery C: C'mon! Why not?

Tooba N: K! Fine! Just needed time to relax. It feels like years since I've been away from home!

Avery C: I understand. See you tomorrow?

Tooba N: See ya tomorrow!

Avery C: Yay! 😃

Tooba N: Before you go, I want to tell you something. It's a quote by myself, so don't go searching for it on google! 😉! 'Life is an adventure, so explore it! That was the quote. Bye Avery! See ya later!

I put my Chromebook away and sighed. It really is true.
