Meanwhile, as all this is happening with vicky, back home, there was panick. Tommy had woken up believing the day would be quite normal. Him and vicky would forgive one another and then pretend like nothing happened, he would go to work, come home, have his tea and kiss his daughter goodnight. That's what he does most day. But it was different. When tommy woke up, he went to check on vicky to make sure she was alright. He does this almost every morning, just checking that she is still breathing. This is most likely due to her epilepsy which puts him and her under such worrisome conditions

"Vicky?!" Tommy yelled out looking around the room but no one was there. The room hadn't been touched for several hours, the cold chill was proof of that. It seemed almost desolate, left alone for centuries. Yet it had only been a mere few hours. Despite this, Tommy was rather quick to panick. He scanned her wardrobe for some home that perhaps she had gone for a walk, but her clothes were gone as was bouncers dog food

"Darling!?" He called, rushing all over the house

"Have you see Victoria?" He asked every maid he bumbed into

"Not since yesterday evening Mr shelby" they all replied, no one giving him a single bit of hope. Perhaps the kitchens would give him some joy. She was always sneaking off and stealing food from the cook. He ran down to the kitchens, remaining calm from the outside, but his mind was all over the place, full of grief and anxiety

"Mr shelby, I-"

"Has Victoria been down here?" He asked impatiently

"Erm...not since last night sir"

"What time last night?" Tommy demanded to have answers but no one was saying what he wanted to hear

"Just after you came home from your meal with your aunt polly, Mr shelby. She cried to me, about her brothers. It's not my place, but that poor girl just wants a family, you need to show her that you are enough, I don't trust those brothers. You may be a gangster Mr shelby, but you're her father nonetheless, and if anyone should be with her right now, it's you" cook told him

"I've fucked up" he mumbled to himself

"Yes you have. But don't we all on occasion. She's ran away hasn't she?" Tommy nodded pacing up and down, unsure what his next move should be

"Did she take any food before she left? Perhaps for her journey?"

"Miss shelby hasn't been down here for food in a long time. She comes down here to talk, not to eat. I think as she's getting older, perhaps with her illness, she's slowly losing her appetite" Tommy walked off. He couldn't bare it anymore. He made a phone call to the betting shop

P: Hello, polly gray speaking
T: Pol, I need your help now. Close the betting shop. Get 20 of our peaky blinders
P: 20? Thomas, what the fuck have you done now?
T: tell them, be ready, we are taking a trip to Liverpool
P: she's gone to find them hasn't she?
T: that she has pol, and it's only a matter of time before they show her their true colours.
P: she will hate you Thomas. Some things she needs to figure out on her own
T: let her hate me. I'd rather her hate me and live, than love me and die

Many men got into separate cars. Ready to go to Liverpool

"I'll stay, incase she comes back" polly says

"Can I come with you?" Finn asks

"No finn you-" Arthur begins

"She's my fucking niece. Vicky is family, I love her and I'm not just gonna sit back and do nothing. She may be older than me, but that doesn't mean I can't help protect her. I'm coming with you one fucking way or another" Tommy pushes finn into the car and everyone hurries off

"She'll be alright Tom. Strong las our vicky" John says as they start the car

"Those men are stronger. And we all fucking know it"

Vicky was sat in her bedroom at her brothers house. Bouncers head across her lap as she stroked behind his ears

"Sorry buddy. I tried to get you food" vicky had lost bouncers food on their way to Liverpool and now her brothers won't even give her any. She was in her bay window, it was nice and one of the reasons her brothers always wanted to buy this hour. Vicky didn't even hear the door open

"Still hungry?" The poor girl almost jumped out of her skin

"Sorry, didn't mean scare you like that" Joshua apologised

"That's alright. And no, I'm not hungry anymore thankyou" she knew bouncer needed food, but was terrified of what Joshua may feed her

"Good. Might help you lose some weight. You've gained a few pounds since last time I saw you"

"Ha, ye, well last time you saw me I was 10 maybe 11. I'm almost 16 now"

"That doesn't matter now, because I know that you'll lose some weight, like a good girl. Won't you Victoria? No one likes a fatty" he laughs as she laughs along, although her heart was broken inside

"Ye, you're right. I promise" he walks over and plants a kiss on her forehead

"We're all going to sleep now. I love you"

"I love you too" vicky said, although it felt like a lie. These men she was with, these weren't her brothers, atleast not the ones she'd been taken from. Or were they? Were they always like this? Perhaps, being so young, she'd just never noticed. As Joshua began to wall out, bouncer started barking. Joshua turned around and looked at vicky who was staring at the floor, her body slumped across her bay window

"Lads!" Vickys brothers rushed in and they all started laughing. Pinching her skin and pulling her hair. Knocking her around and kissing her neck. They ripped her skirt and bit her thigh. As they did this, bouncer tried to get to them, but he couldn't. For there were atleast 5 other men holding him back and they had managed to out a muzzle over his mouth. When vicky snapped out of it, they laughed against whilst she sat their crying, feeling violated beyond belief

"What..what are you doing?" She asked as they dragged bouncer out. They took him from her room and she tried to get to them but the door shut in her face, and locked. Vickys fists pounded against the door, making her knuckles bleed as she sobbed

"NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HIM! STOP IT! DONT HURT HIM! PLEASE! PLEASE! LET HIM GO! DONT HURT HIM! JOSHUA! STOP IT! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!" She screamed and cried until her voice went dry and she could hardly talk. Slumped against the door, her sobs faded into nothing as her eyes closed and the exhaustion took over. Vicky had been defeated. Atleast that's what it felt like. She had failed bouncer, her best friend, he had been so good to her and no she'd failed him. And for that, she can never forgive herself
