At Rocque Records was buzzing with excitement. Today was a day that only came once in a lifetime—at least, if you were lucky. Big Time Rush's album Elevate had officially gone Gold, and Olivia wouldn't have missed this moment for anything.
Dressed up for the occasion, she stood next to Kelly off to the side, watching proudly as Griffin stood beside Gustavo and the boys, preparing for the big reveal. The energy in the room was electric, cameras ready, reporters around.
Griffin spread his arms dramatically. "On behalf of RCM/CBT Globalnet/Sanyoid, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Big Time Rush's Elevate has sold over 500,000 copies and to present them with their first U.S. Gold record!"
With a flourish, he pulled off the maroon fabric, revealing the gleaming gold record frame in Gustavo's hands. The room erupted in applause, and the paparazzi immediately began snapping photos.
Olivia clapped, her heart filled with pride as she glanced at Logan and the guys. They had worked so hard for this, and now they were officially Gold-record artists.
Griffin beamed. "Now smile, everyone!"
The boys grinned, posing for the cameras, but James was already eyeing the record with barely contained excitement.
"So we all get Gold records, right?" James Asked, eagerly.
Griffin chuckled, shaking his head. "It's a tough economy, fellas, so we only made one."
James' smile dropped. "What?"
"But you can come visit it here at the studio anytime you like," Gustavo Added.
Carlos wasn't having it. "No, you can come to the crib and see it any time you like," He Countered, gripping the edge of the frame.
"I actually already have a spot for it on the wall," Gustavo argued, tugging it back.
"Oh no. Here we go." Olivia Sighed, rolling her eyes.
"Yeah, well, I need it near me," James Added, grabbing hold of it as well.
