The sound of your footfalls reverberated throughout the hall as you skidded around a corner breathing heavily the jingling of your gear and your exhilarated heart rate filling your ears, the distant sound of crashing furniture accompanied by the sound of glass shattering could be heard far back in the room you were once, you skidded under a toppled shelf that was blocking the top of the hallway making it to the other side just as a large hand had gone to grab you, quickly getting up you stared the brute in its eyes, it stood still staring at you before sneering and wandering back to where it came from, breathing heavily you felt cold sweat dripping down your face, wiping it off with a gloved hand, you turned and kept walking, you were alone in this place... With the mutants to keep you company
A dark pit grew in your stomach becoming restless as it kept getting stronger, you never liked being alone, it felt awful despite always feeling alone back in the exhibition...
"Come on Artyom over here!" whipping around you looked around not seeing anyone, you sighed and kept walking, "Come on slow poke I know we can make it!", you stood there and shut your eyes, feeling hot tears roll down your face, you couldn't shake the overwhelming fear that slowly gripped you, "Come on! Come on! We're almost there Artyom, we can make it!"
You dropped to the floor feeling an intense gut-wrenching sob come from you, tears dripped onto the floor as you began hyperventilating, you heard the distant growl of the mutant, and you were practically breathing heavily from fear as you scrambled under a desk hugging your knees tightly you pressed yourself against the wall of the desk, tears freely flowing, the mutant had broken into the room you were in, it immediately lunged forward grabbing you by the leg forcefully pulling you out from your hiding spot, you let out a blood-curdling scream in pure fear as you shielded your eyes, you were practically wailing in fear as the mutant roared in your face spewing bloody and spit onto your clothes and your face...

Hearing the distant roar of a librarian Miller loaded his Volt driver "OVER THERE!" he barked, the roar was followed by what sounded like an animalistic scream in fear, Artyom immediately bolted to where he heard the scream "ARTYOM WAIT!" Miller called out as Pavel followed close behind, both the mute and Ranger were in fear of what they'd see
"GUYS WAIT UP!" Ulman shouted as Danila and Miller pursued the two, running through halls and empty rooms they skidded to a stop, the doorway to a room looked busted open, Artyom was the first to burst in, he trained his sights on a librarian who was holding Y/N up by the throat, slamming the H/C male down who was screaming in fear, Artyom shot the librarian in its arm causing the brute to stare at Artyom, baring its teeth at him
The beast had let you go to which you immediately got onto your stomach and scrambled away, ignoring the calls of the other four, Pavel managed to grab you by the back of your sweater, and you spun around hitting him in the throat with the blunt end of your bayonet, ypu sprinted out of the room still breathing hard you skidded on the floor avoiding the arm of a librarian who attempted to grab you, you pushed through a doorway, Artyom hot on your trail as he was chasing you down
You were in a haze of panic and fear, you didn't realize that your friends were the ones chasing you down, all you knew is you needed to get out, you slid under a desk got back up, and sprinted
"Y/N! SLOW DOWN ITS US!" Ulman shouted as Artyom jumped over the desk keeping his pace, he was speeding up "HE MUST BE HAVING A PANIC ATTACK! YOU HEAR HOW LOUD HE SCREAMED!? THAT WASN'T NORMAL!" Pavel shouted as the four of them jumped over the desk trying to keep up with Artyom
You ended up bolting into a room, it was a dead end, Artyom ran in skidding to a stop across from you, holding his hands up he noticed how tightly you were clutching your bayonet, "Y/N it's me Artyom! Come on but your knife down" he signed with one hand the other slowly reaching for your arm, you swung at him with snarling, he barley dodged narrowly avoiding the sharp tip of your knife, you rammed Artyom causing him to fall onto the floor, looking up he stared in fear as you held the knife above your head, E/C eyes staring into his own with fear, you were scared... Before Artyom had a chance to cover his face a shot rang out, and his eyes widened in fear, you stared down at him as blood trickled from your mouth, a red spot slowly forming on your chest
