'Good morning Daadisa...May I help?' saying I started to look at what she was doing when suddenly she said

'Puttarji...what are you doing in the kitchen...go get some rest. Once it's 8 am... Rony isn't going to let you relax even a bit!!!' but I instead started to pull the onion and knife from her hands and started chopping.

'Well this is also my duty! Remember Mr Khanna said he wants to eat the breakfast made by me?' saying I continued chopping but instead she pulled the onion from my hand saying

'And I already denied that stupid idea!!!' saying she objected but I requested her saying

'Come on Dadisa...I'll get some time with you and I have learnt that time is an investment. With that I will know more about my boss, my would be in-laws and the love of my life. It's all an investment so worth it!!!' saying I started chopping the onion faster to which she smiled but suddenly I heard a voice saying

'Well that's a smart investment Aditya!!!' and I looked back to see Malvika aunty standing with a hotbox as she kept it on the kitchen rack saying 'Let him do it Mumma....looks like he is giving it all. Go ahead Aditya but remember dad is very specific when it comes to his food!' and I stopped chopping.

'In the sense?' I ask and instead I have been given a list of items that Mr Khanna is specific about.

'His tea needs to boil exactly for two minutes then simmer it exactly for 30 seconds and needs to be served only with 3 table spoon of thick milk.' Malvika aunty explained and I gulped as I made a note of it.

'And remember Puttar! He likes to have his tea exactly 3 times in a day! And anything goes a little wrong he's going to turn into a five year old tantrum king!' saying Dadi gave me a small cup of tea and I took a sip and it felt so perfect.

'Rony is a perfectionist Puttar...and this is just tea...he expects perfection in everything.' he said and I quickly asked

'But I heard he's retired, so what does he do the entire day?' and Daadi smiled saying 'You will know but for now...rush!!! It's Mr Khanna's time to walk down his Isle.' and I raised an eyebrow as Malvika aunty chuckled saying ' It 's breakfast time. We Khanna's make sure to eat two meals of our day together. Let's say....you can see your fiance twice in a day!!!' and my eyes shone at once. My eyes were craving to see her.

'Good morning Mr Khanna!!!' I wished him although my eyes kept looking for her when Mr Khanna spoke up saying

'Eyes here young man! I don't wear an invisible cloak that you need to keep looking here and there! I am here!!! Right in front of you!!!' he said sarcastically and I nodded smiling hesitantly. He rolled his eyes and took the head seat of the table. On his left sat Vansh uncle who smiled at me, next to him was Malvika aunty. The seat next to her was left empty. On his right was Kisha Daadi and then two seats again were empty next to her. I was about to take the seat next to Kisha Daadi when Mr Khanna spoke up saying

'Dont try to act smart young man!!! Take the seat next to Malu!' and I didn't understand what was his problem.

'But Mr Khanna this is also-'

'Its my Luv's seat!!!' so I tried shifting to the next empty chair but his voice boomed again saying

'Looks like you are a terrible PA to begin with. Learn to follow my instructions young boy! Either sit where I asked you to or lea-' but his voice suddenly died as he looked past me and I started to get up from the seat when I felt a grip on my wrist and I instantly knew who it was. Her fragrance was one of its kind. I turned around and my eyes met the most beautiful pair of eyes I had ever discovered in my life. She was finally standing infront of me. She looked worried but the longing in her eyes was visible. We were not allowed to talk to each other. I couldn't even ask if she was doing fine because her face looked so pale and I knew that she wasn't.
