"That glowy thing is an explosive Chitauri energy core." Karen said.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! You mean, we've been carrying around a bomb?" Peter said with panic. "what?!" Peter flinched as Aliyanna screamed in his ear. "What hell were you doing huh? "God if Tony finds about this I'm so dead... so so so dead. y-" Before she could continue with her shouting Karen quickly added to her previous statement.
"It would require radiation to transform it into an explosive state." Aliyanna looked at peter wide-eyed who returned the look.
" No, no, no, no, no."
Peter used his webs to swing to the warehouse doors. Clinging onto the doors, he started banging and shouting, hoping someone would hear him.
" Hey! Please! Please, somebody, let me out! Hey! Karen, you have to help me override that time lock."
"Seriously. You think this is going to work."
"Pleeeease, nightshade. If you can't help me then just sit there... quietly."
Aliyanna shrugged her shoulder and crossed her arms over her chest, observing him.
Let's see how you take control of this situation spidey. She thought.
Peter was hanging upside down from the ceiling next to the time lock close to the doors. He had opened the lock panel and was putting in numbers. In his hands are a notepad and a pen, he he was writing and crossing out the combinations in it
After some time he was still trying to override the lock. He yawned, then pressed some buttons.
"Initiating trial 247." Karen said as the massive warehouse doors groaned as they open.
" It worked! It works!" Peter clapped excitedly and looked at nightshade, who stood there wide-eyed. "H-how did you do that?" She asked completely star struck. "I'm a genius you see. Anyway, come on lets go, my friends are in danger."
"Friends?" His eyes widened when he realized what he had said.
"I- me-"
"Relax Peter. I know who you are."
"What?! H-How" He shrieked. Aliyanna rolled her eyes, "Listen spidey Tony sent me here to babysit you. He thinks you always fall into problem. And this whole bomb thing further proves his point."
"Babysit me? What am I? two?"
"Maybe" He groaned and facepalmed himself.
"Seriously this is not the time for you to keep standing here. Go and save your friends and prove Tony wrong I promise I won't tell him a thing."
"Really."
"Yep"
"Then come with me." He raised his hand for her to take. Nightshade stared at it then said. "But I'm not a hero. I don't save people."
