(2k Special!) Your Relationship with Grian Head Cannons

Physical Touch:

- Grian is for the most part the big spoon when it came to cuddles

- Unless he's feeling really upset that day, in which case the roles switch

- His love language is through physical and verbal affection

- You love a good snuggle, but if you have to start it, are usually awkward as your love language mostly being verbal, or giving gifts

- On days where he stays over, you normally end up falling asleep in his arms with sweet nothings being whispered into your ear more then half the time

- He likes to hold you, due to knowing that your safe with him

- It makes him feel like he's protecting you

- He also likes to do surprise hugs from behind on you

- You two aren't really much of lip kissers most of the time, but are okay with forehead and cheek kisses

- Both of your favourite kind of cuddle is when he has his arms and wings firmly wrapped around you and the cats, you also hugging everyone else and the cats choosing a human and nuzzling into them

- He will make some sort of contact whenever he can, by just holding your hand or flat out hugging you

- Cuddling was always wholesome, and you couldn't not adore how both your gazes whenever your eyes met spelled out 'Love' clear as day

"It's moments like these that I cherish most in life."

Comfort:

You Upset:

- As soon as he notices he's there by your side immediately

- He would usher you into to bed, starting a cuddle session at once

- He'd be extra gentle with you the whole time, thumb rubbing circles on your palm

- He'd use the softest voice too, once he thought you were ready to speak, asking you what's wrong

- And if he could do anything about it, he did

- A joke gone too far? He'd notify the person as soon as you were okay, discussing the problem to make sure it didn't happen again. 

- You were burnt out? He'd not let you leave the bed for a day, spoiling you in all of your time there. 

- Something from the past? He'd talk it through with you, listening as you vented out everything with attentive ears and giving out advice once it was done.

- Mostly he was joking around with or pranking you, but if you were upset, he became the perfect partner for you

"Shh... Don't cry, N/N. I'm here now, everything is gonna be just fine."

Him Upset:

- It was pretty obvious when something was bothering him, it never took you long to notice

- You were more verbal with your comforting, but still if he requested, you would cuddle with him

- You'd make sure he felt he was completely safe before you asked, whispering comfort to him in the most gentle voice you could muster

- Mostly you'd understand his problems, and after being calmed down he's pretty open about it

- You knew how to react to make him feel understood, which he was more grateful for then you could ever imagine

- The cause was mostly about his past, or, very rarely, he had an argument with one of his friends

- The first one you became a shoulder to cry on, and for the second one you helped him resolve the fight and repair what had been done

- These days would usually end in you holding him, while giving him massages, him thanking you every 5 minutes for the comfort

"It's okay Grian, just let it all out, I'm listening."

Fighting:

- Honestly, most of your 'fighting' was just harmless bickering, and not actual anger or annoyance

- But on the rare occasions when you would get into a real fight, you two both handled it in one of the most healthy ways possible

- You would spend some time away from each other, the amount of time depending on how serious the disagreement was

- Then one of you, almost always with a present, would go to the others base, apologizing and asking for forgiveness

- It was hard for one of you to stay mad at the other, so it ended with forgiveness mostly

- Sometimes you needed a bit more time, but one way or another it was always handled

- If it was him forgiving you, he'd invite you in for a nice little chat and cuddle

- You forgiving him, and you'd reassure him it was okay and that they could talk with some food to figure it out

"It's okay! I forgive you, please, come in. I want to make everything right." 

Dates:

- When they happened, they were always long and unforgettable

- You either hung out at each others base, or went exploring into the unknown

- One of your favourite things was to play hide and seek in the wilderness

- If you were the hider, you preferred to go underwater

- Grian's wings were mostly great, but he wasn't a very good swimmer because of them

- Grian liked hiding in the sky, grinning from behind a cloud as you searched for him

- Picnics were also nice

- Almost everything you did together was fun, but picnics were a personal favourite

- You and Grian would meet up in a spot, both of you bringing baked goods for the other

- Then you'd just sit on the blanket, eating, as you pointed out clouds that looked like objects or animals to you

"This was, like always, one of the best days of my life."

Gifts:

- One of your classic ways of showing affection was gifts

- You would draw thoughtful pictures for Grian, making sure every little detail was perfect

- He would either build you something, or gift you with knowledge

- Aka, an embarrassing story of one of his friends or a prank he discovered

- On special days like your birthdays, you'd get the biggest, most meaningful gift you possibly could

- He literally made a meadow for you, the perfect reading place too, right outside your base

- You had once given him a few parrot heads, to which he started a thing called 'Pesky Bird'

- You questioned the morality of it in your head but said nothing

- You always got super nervous if you didn't know whether he'd like a gift or not

- He always reassured you saying "If it's from you I'll love it"

- He spoiled the living void out of you in any special holiday, ever

- It was sometimes a little annoying, but you did the same thing to him, so it was alright, you supposed

"I love it. Here, I made this specially for you."
