Chapter 8

Kimberly ' POV

For the past month I realised that Hailey has my aunt 's eyes and the same personality like hers but it never crossed my mind that Aunt Sara was actually her mom. Hailey never really talked about her family every time I asked she'd just flip so I stopped asking about them.

I love Hailey and right now I don't even know whats going to happen to us now that we are "cousins".

I'm not ready to have her as my cousin. Today she wasn't at school.
I'm still so lost like how can aunt Sara have a child and I don't even know about.

"Hey mom..where's aunt?" I asked as I threw myself on the couch.

"She's upstairs she'll be down here in about-" mom was interrupted by Aunt Sara

"Hey " she sat down next to mom

"Hi..aunt how come you never told me about your child?" I curiosly asked.

She let out a huge sigh before she could start explaining... I couldn't believe she's been through so much pain and yet she's still strong as ever

" oh my God..I'm glad you survived " I told her as I  sobbed into her  shoulder .After a moment we were all calm and I  went back to the normal position

" I'll try and get Hailey to have a word with you okay....I'll try everything in my power to reconnect you guys" I said as I stood up and walked up the stairs to my bedroom.

I tried calling Hailey yesterday but she didn't answer me..I'm worried about her.. the way she was angry yesterday when she left and the she raised her voice at me was just so unbelievable.

I called her again and she answered at the second ring

Me: hey babey how are you feeling today?

Hailey: ahh I'm holding up babey and  how are you?

Me:well I'm okay i was worried because of yesterday you know...about your mo-

Hailey: I thought I told you to not talk about her and now that I think about it maybe you and I should just be cousins like we are meant to be don't you think

The coldness in her tone triggered something inside me.. I dont know what exactly but I found myself sobbing.. after a moment of silence 

Me: Hailey what are you trying to say.. and can we at least talk about this face to face.. tell me where you are I'll come okay

I said breaking the silence.. Hailey gave me her whereabouts after a lot of hesitation. I went downstairs and informed mom that I'm heading out

Hailey hugged me so tight.. we were lost in each other's arms for about 5 minutes

" hey love look at me "I said breaking the hug and cupping her face. Only to realise that she was crying

"Babey its okay to cry, let it out okay"as soon as I said that she cried her lungs out.. it breaks my heart to see her like this ..

We were now on our knees and she was in my arms crying her life out.. I couldn't help but cry along with her.

" she..s..she left me with him.. he hi..hit me everytime any..anytime he felt like it...why did she leave me whyyy"she said through the sobs and I couldn't help but flinch at what she said..

Did she says he was abusing her? Oh my God I think I'm going to lose it, nobody hurts my girl and gets away with it..

" i think that's the question you should ask her babey, make time maybe she will explain what happened "  I whispered softly in her  ear..it only made her cry even more.. I don't think I'll be going home tonight.

" lemme call mom and tell her I'll be home tomorrow or later by midnight ,okay?" I said and she nodded

After speaking with mom and explaining  to her how Hailey is she just agreed and said I was the closest person to her.

She was now calm.. I don't know who's house is this but,it has lot of aunt's pictures.. and food everything is here.. Its small but really loveable..I prepared us dinner and sat down. we ate in comfortable silence then cuddled and watched a movie. 

After the movie we stayed like that for a few minutes..I cleared my throat and was about to stand up but Hailey held me closer to her and looked into my eyes with so much emotions in them. Somehow my eyes went from her eyes to her lips..and up to her eyes again..

She leaned in slowly and finally her lips touched mine.. our lips moved in sync and everything was getting heated and fvck I need her I don't care if she's my aunt's child or not. I mean I didn't know we were cousins so it can just stay like that.

"Mhh Kimberly..fvck we shouldn't be doing this " she said with a horny voice

"Well you little buddy doesnt think so.. please Hailey make love to me.."  soon as I said that she hungrily kissed me.
