She stood there like she was seeing a ghost..but shook it off..and whatever they were talking about is non of my business I guess.
"So dad can I go upstairs and grab my stuff" said the dad sarcastically.
"Yeah sure go ahead hunny" she said with a small smile on his face .was as thou it's genuine.
I quickly head upstairs and ohh he made my work easier since he already packed my stuff in boxes..well I guess he really wanted me to leave .
Packed the boxes in my car trunk and when I was carrying the last box to the car.. I found him sitting on the counter as thou something was weighing him down and Mrs Winston was besides him holding a glass of water... How tf do they even know each other ..
"Well dad thank you for packing my things I really appreciate that.." it's really hard calling him Harden in his face, I mean he raised me even thou it wasn't the best kind.. he's the only one I knew growing up.
"And I see you really wanted me out" I say the last sentence lowly but sure he heard me
" No my child I knew one day you'd need them because you're going to school so thought why not help her ..moreover I missed having you around" he said as he drank water from the glass
" I'll head out" said with a small smile. And head towards the door
" I'm sorry for all those years I treated you badly Hailey." He said
Only turned to see if he was being for real and guess what, that was the same old look he gave when ever he wasn't telling the truth... whenever he apologized for hitting me black and blue then come beat me again..so no thanks I'm not buying it
"Okay" I nodded then packed my last box..put my car to life and drove back to my place

"Aww you guys get a room please. " said walking in on my parents kissing..
"Sunshine wait till you marry and mark your mate then you'll feel what I'm feeling right now" Dev said and we all laughed
" And where have you been your note only said you're going out and will be back in a few" mom asked as she dishes up
"Well went to get my rest of my things from Harden's place..so dad can you help me bring them in " we stood up and went outside..
"Everyone in the pack keeps asking me when are you coming in already..they love you ..like last month when you were there they were so sad when you left"
"Dad I'll come but that's after my graduations remember?"
"Well it's a good thing that your pack loves you sunshine"
"I'm not 5 anymore dad" we both laughed then took in the last box in.
We were all eating and mom decided to break the silence
" So how was he? Didn't he creat a scene "?
"Nahh he was really calm which surprised me... He even apologised for all those years "
After Mom and dad left, I cleaned up and began picking few things I will need for school next week. I bet I'm going to miss my girl , I kinda wish we were going to the same college but for me it will only be four to six months... I mean we'll still be in touch with each other so that will really help both of us.
Thinking about Kim rewinded my mind to earlier when I saw her mom talking to my dad, mahn I wonder how do they know each other. who were they talking about. Just as I packed my last bag my phone rang and it was the woman of my dreams
KIM: hey love can you please get me fries on your way to pick me up for our date
ME: hey love, well did I forget we have a date or I'm I missing something?
KIM: well its a surprise love, come on bring me some fries and just dress casually... I would come pick you up just that I don't like driving after sun set.
ME: ohkay bambina, imma take a shower, order your fries so I can pick them on my way. So gimme 35 minutes maybe
KIM: ohkay hunny I'll wait . xoxo I love you
ME: I love you more princess.
She hangs up then I order her fries and other goodies because I know she doesn't only want fries like she said. I place my order then take a shower.. put on my black sweatpants with a white oversized shirt, some black hoodie and my wrist watch then head out.
I wonder where she making me drive her to, I stop by McDonalds and grab my order then start driving to her house. I wonder who she with because her mother don't want non to do wit' me ,and ever since she threatened me I haven't really stepped foot on their front door. Surely she's gonna f... my thoughts are disturbed by my phone ringing so I press the button on my starring to answer the call
KIM: I hope you already on your way, but I want you to pack 4 houses from my house since mom doesn't know that you and I are continuing with are our relationships
ME: well I'm already 4 houses away so imma pull up so you make your way over here.
After what seems like forever she finally shows up, we hug then I opened the door for her and waited for the directions.
