Sia's POV:

"How are you feeling now ? " Aaron asked as soon as she saw me

"Much Better" I said as I took her in a quick hug closing my eyes engulfing her warmth

"You'll be great soon" She mummered as she rubbed my back

"Okay! I am hungry! " We pulled apart as I saw Fay setting up the plates on the table

Taking a seat, I looking at the table. My mouth involuntarily watering as I looked at the delicious looking chicken curry in front of me

"We tried making it as Indian as we could for you " Aaron commented

"Oh my god, you are God" I exclaimed making Aaron laugh

As expected the curry was so good. Maybe not as spicy as it looked but it was Aaron's efforts making it hundred times more precious

All three of us were enjoying dinner in a peaceful silence.
It's actually a rule to not talk while eating as according to Aaron, Fay is so talkative she would never finish her food if she let her talk . Which was fine by me.

I actually really like this rule .
I remember having arguments with Andrew on the dinner table every now and then and she would always support him.
Andrew would leave the table and she would go behind him to 'console' him.
Oh how naive I was to not pick up the clues. To not see it. Everything was right in front of my eyes. Well I guess I just loved them too much to even doubt them. My eyes immediately tearing up, so I looked down and focused on eating

At this point I was just gulping down the food, one of my coping mechanisms, stress eating.
I was so engrossed within my thoughts I did not notice the seat behind me getting occupied, until I heard a voice

"You know the food ain't running away"

Turning my head to my side, I met with a pair of hazel brown eyes. Looking down at me with a blank expression.

But they turned concerned after he noticed tears in mine

I saw him open his mouth to say something but he was interrupted by Fay

"I thought you wanted to sleep? " Both us turned to Fay looking at us with a sarcastic smirk

"Yeah.. But I am hungry " He sighed
Before serving himself and slightly pulling him seat away from mine

I turned away only to meet Aaron's eyes who kept looking at us silently just observing us before going back to eat

She does that a lot actually , but my mind was too occupied to spare her a thought

After everyone ate, Justin and Fay left to their respective rooms. Aaron cleared the table while I did the dishes.

Aaron wanted to help me but I convinced her that I got it so she left too.

I needed to stay alone for a while. To think. To observe.

As I was finishing up the work, closing curtains and checking door locks, I heard  my phone ring.
Quickly making my way over to the living room table where it was, I picked it up. It was an unknown number so I was skeptical about picking it up.

But I did not want to wake anyone because of the loud ringtone so I hurriedly picked it up.

"Hello? " I half whispered

"Um Is this Sia? Sia singh?" The other voice asked.
The voice was familiar but I couldn't really tell where I've heard it before

"Yes.." I hesitantly replied
