Chapter 5 : Abandoned And Stranded

"Well uh-this stupid door's lock is faulty and it won't open or unlock!"
"What?! Kori?! I-no Von, it was YOUR idea. I knew it was a bad idea!" I said.
"You see I was right!" Vaxivian commented.
"What. Are. We. Going. To. Do." Jasmine said.

We were all panicking, but trying to stay quiet, so who or whatever was outside, causing the chaos, wouldn't try to get to us. "What are we gonna-" I started cutting myself off with a silent gasp."What's wrong?" Drori asked. "Guys the windows, try the windows!" I said. Our faces lit up with hope and as the guys tried to get the door open, the girls and I tried the windows. "No, no, no, no, no. They look rusty. They're probably not going to open. Vax was right. We're stupid." I said crouching down. I was finding it hard to breathe, my heart was pounding and a million thoughts were going through my head. My palms got so sweaty..

The others tried the windows, and my paranoia was right. They had were rusty and could not open no matter how hard they tried.

No,no,no!This can't be happening! What are we gonna do?! What is going on outside?! How are we going to get out of here?! How could a silly little prank turn into this?! I can't breathe?! What are we going to do?! Are we going to die in here?! No, please no!!!! "Hey, hey, hey!Rasmiona,are you okay? Are you having an anxiety attack? Are you okay?! Calm down, it's okay. We will figure a way out of here. I'm here, it me Von. Look at me, we're going be fine!"

"NO, NO WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE FINE
BECAUSE OF YOU'RE STUPID PLAN WE'RE STUCK IN HERE..AND.. I DON'T KNOW IF WE'RE GOING TO GET OUT OR IF WE CAN MAKE IT OUT ALIVE, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE! HOW MY HEART IS RACING FASTER THAN A TRAIN GOING AT 100MPH OR SOMETHING AND HOW MY HANDS ARE SWEATIER THAN YOUR' S FROM WHEN YOU RAN AROUND THE BLOCK 3 TIMES! I'M NOT OKAY, THIS IS NOT OKAY. YOU ARE NOT HELPING, YOU'RE MAKING IT WORSE YOU IDIOT! I CANNOT DO THIS! " I screamed as I fell to my knees, breaking down.

The others tried to comfort me, while Von stood there, shocked and hurt. Kori was also comforting me. I couldn't take it, bottling up my emotions like water, and bottling up my tears as water and pretending to be okay.. I just lost it. Snapped. I hate that about myself... My weaknesses are that I can't share my feelings or emotions, I have anxiety, paranoia and insomnia, sometimes I just snap or burst like a firework, at someone and hurt them. I accidentally hurt those who just want to help me.. Gosh I can be idiotic. I didn't want to hurt Von or be mean, it wasn't completely his fault, and now he was trying to help and I lost it on him, as if I was some pit bull on a chain.

"Hey Rasmiona, Rasmiona! You okay??? It's Von and Vaxivian."
I gasped as I looked up at them, realizing that never happened, I never lashed out on Von, that was all just my paranoia.. But the screams and nips outside and us being stuck here is real.. And the windows not opening is also real." Yeah, uh, I'm fine. "I said. I was just gapping I didn't actually lash out on Von...

" Wait I have an idea! "
" What is it Drori? "I asked.
" My Technopad is connected to the school's camera's, because my dad is a guard that works at the school. We can see what's going on outside! "she answered. We looked at the cameras an we saw that right now there wasn't anyone in the room, but the glass was on the floor, and everything was either thrown over or broken and there was blood and bullets and things all over the floor." Rewind the footage!" I said. When the footage was rewinded, we saw these people wearing black, white and silver bodysuits with a hooded cape and masks break in, and they were throwing everything and shooting arrows, using guns and all kinds of weapons and gadgets, and we saw everyone screaming and running, we then saw them dragging Ms. Cherylwood and a few other Hunters Fedaration (government) members away.

Then they looked at the camera and got out quickly.. We stood there in shock. "Oh my gosh, are they like those people Vax use to talk to us about, you know from the past.. Spies?" I said. "Yeah, spies. You think they're spies?" Vaxivian replied. "Yeah." I answered. We all exchanged stares. "Whatever the heck they are, they did this! They're bad, I mean what do they against the government?!" Von said.

"Well everyone has motives. Everyone has reasons. Plus the government is kinda shady sometimes..." Jasmine commented calmly. "Yeah, she may be  right. I just wonder why? I think they're just bad. I mean what could the government be doing? These people are the ones who are shady.. Where did they even come from? Who are they?!" Kori said.

"Wait oh my gosh, I think I may have a TechnoKey on my TechnoPad. Its techno, but I can print it out and use it to unlock the door, hopefully, or I can try to unlock it Technologically, if it was locked Technologically." Drori said. She tried to unlock the door Technologically and after a few struggles, it finally opened." Yes, yes! "We all scream happily, racing out. We were immediately met with the horrific after scene of what happened. It looked like a crime scene...

" Wait why aren't the Hunters Corps here?!"I said." Oh did you know that back in the day the Hunters Corps were called Cops, or Police Officers? Weird hu-"Vax said, being cut off by all our blank, unamused stares." Sorry. "

We looked around and we found some of their weapons and gadgets that were left behind. We decided to take it with us, in our backpacks I also found a TechnoKey for someone's car, which I took.We investigated and Kori tried to reach the Hunters Help Prey emergency hotline, but there was no answer. He tried our parents and family members, but still no answer. We tried everyone we knew but no one was picking up. We were panicking. Vaxivian suggested we should go outside to the parking lot and see if we can take one of our families cars.

We tried everyone's but no luck, then I saw Ms. Cherylwood's big van and we ran over there. I took out those keys I found inside and they worked and opened the van. It seems like everyone was evacuated out of town... We got in the van. "Kori is the best TechnoController  among us so he knows ot if vehicles and he should control it." Delon said. Vaxivian started giggling to herself.

"What?!" I asked.
"Hehehe Among Us .. It was a game in the 2020's.." she said. We just ignored her and the van drove us our hangout house. "This would probably be the best place to stay right?" Delon said. We all agreed we got our backpacks and packed up everything we needed, and then quickly ran to our houses to grab whatever else we needed. We got back and the van Auto - TechnoControlled itself to go inside.

" We're really stranded and abandoned here." Jasmine said. "How could everyone forget about us, not even look for us?!" Mika exclaimed. "They probably thought we were taken by those weird people, and I think everyone was forced to evacuate.." I said. "But where were they evacuated in the first place?! Mozorak, this town is literally like in the middle of nowhere, on its own, not surrounded by ANYTHING." Drori said.

"Well what if they're actually still here, but they're in like a... Umm... Secret Hunters Fedaration HQ, or they're in their actual HQ!" Von said, trying to be optimistic. "Um but their HQ is  actually literally on the whole other side of town." Kori said. "Wait, let's check on my TechnoPad! I have a full like map, it used to be called I think, of the whole town with all the information about it on my TechnoPad!" I said. "Hmm okay so it is right here.. We can check it out, if you put the van on really fast." "Are you sure, Rasmiona?" "Yeah." I said and so did everyone else. "Ok..."
