Relaxing Night- Chapter 12

ALSO IF ANYBODY'S WONDERING THIS TAKES PLACE IN EARLY WINTER BREAK THAT WHY THERE'S NO SCHOOL!!! 

ROBERT'S POV

We finally make it home and take off our coats to decide on what to do next. "Let's make some food." I suggested. "It's about 5." I added. "I didn't realize we were out so long!" Roy exclaimed, looking at a near clock. "Same here." Ross said. "Is it good if you guys make some food? I'm kinda tired." I asked. "Yeah, of course!" Roy said, and Ross nodded. That was half true. I needed to take a breather away from them. These damn crushes were stressing me out, bad. "We should shower tonight. Robert, since you're not helping, you should go first." Ross said. Wow, he managed a full sentence. "Good idea." I agreed, and headed upstairs.

ROSS'S POV

"What should we make?" I ask. "I only know so much." Roy answers. "We could do mac n cheese again?" I suggest. "What about we order pizza that has some healthy stuff on it." Roy says. Wow. Roy actually thought of something healthy. I'm, amazed. "Ross? Are you there?" He asks. "Oh, yeah." I say. "I'll order it." I suggest. "Oh- my phones behind you-" I start, and reach to grab it. "No- I'll-" Roy says and turns around to also grab it. Our hands touch and I swear to god I did not expect it. Roy pulled back and allowed me to grab the phone. "Sorry- I was tryna help." Roy apologized, and backed away, lowering his head into his sweater. "No- it's fine." I say and smile at him. I'm trying not to be so reactive when stuff like this happens.

ROY'S POV

I bury my head farther into my sweater. I blush a bit out of embarrassment and that our hands touched. Ugh. Ross orders some pizza, and Robert comes downstairs. "What are we eating?" He asks. "Oh, I ordered some pizza. Healthy pizza. Roy's idea." Ross answers. "Well, shower is free." Robert says, gives me a quick smile, and walks back upstairs to my room, calling down; "We talked about Uno, so I'll set it up!" before disappearing into the hallway. "I'll shower next." Ross says, and heads upstairs as well. I'm left standing there. I sat down in thought. I just wish I had the guts to tell them. I zone out, thinking about them and how that scenario could possibly turn out.

ROBERT'S POV

I wonder why Roy was blushing so hard. I mean, I think he was. It was slightly hard to tell due to his head being buried into his sweater like that. I find the Uno cards Roy said were on his desk and shuffle them. I set up the game, straightening up Roy's sheets, and picking where I'd want to sit. I sit down and think about Ross and Roy. I'm pretty sure Ross likes me. I'm mostly sure. But I also think he likes Roy. This whole thing... is just so confusing. But even though I think he likes me, Roy as well, I don't know if I'll ever believe it enough to confess. Ross eventually gets out of the shower and joins me on the bed. We chatted whilst Roy showered as well.

ROSS'S POV

I'm getting slightly better at controlling how I feel if anything "gay" happens between me and Roy or me and Robert. But my head has only calmed down slightly. I don't understand. It seems worse but also better when I'm doing stuff with Roy and Robert. I've never had this happen. Roy gets out pretty quickly, and about 10 minutes later our pizza arrives. We bring it upstairs and play Uno for a while.

ROY'S POV

"Been a long time since I've played this with you guys." Robert comments as Ross calls Uno, for the 3rd time. "True." Ross says. "I think we stopped playing because somehow, you keep fucking winning." I say as Ross plays his last card. "Guess I'm just better." Ross says with his V shaped smirk. I blush a bit at his confidence, and I'm pretty sure he notices, and I try to laugh it off. "Even though Robert and I keep shuffling, you keep winning!! HOW!!" I say as Robert shuffles again. "Like I said, I'm better." Ross repeats. "Hey guys, what about one more round and we go to bed? it's once again getting late and we've all finished eating." I suggest. 

ROBERT'S POV

Wow, Ross is right, Roy is starting to think more. It's interesting how much he's changed in the past few months. I wonder why. "Sounds good to me." Ross agrees, snapping me out of thought. "Yep!" I say, and finish shuffling and deal the cards. We play one more round. We brush our teeth and put away the leftover pizza. We all get in bed. In our own beds now. Well, Roy in his and me and Ross next to each other. I think more about Ross and Roy before I fall into sleep.

ROSS'S POV

My head still fucking hurts. When will this shit go away! How am I supposed to sleep like this. It feels impossible. I feel Robert turn over near me, shifting position. I feel his fucking breath against my neck. I don't know whether I should feel stressed or relaxed, but I somehow feel both. This "sleep next to each other" thing is getting a bit much for me. I mean, I agreed to it so I shouldn't complain too much. Though it felt nice after a while. My brain eventually relaxed a bit and the pain faded enough for me to sleep. I didn't know what time it was that I finally did though. My last thought was the prayer that I didn't have any nightmares.

ROY'S POV

I'm pretty sure Robert fell asleep and forgot about our plan to see if Ross twists and turns all night. But that's ok, I can do it alone. The worry about Ross keeps me awake for a while. For the first 40 minutes, nothing happens and I decide I might go to sleep. But about 15 minutes later, Ross starts to turn a bit. Not too much, but clearly somehow uncomfortable. Somehow it doesn't wake up Robert, but I'm pretty sure he's just a deep sleeper. Ross looks like he's sweaty, and just genuinely looks disturbed. He twists and turns more. I gently hang my arm off the side of my bed and brush it on his forehead. He is burning. His hand brushes mine, and grabs it unexpectedly. I almost flinch away, but decide not to. Ross seems to calm down a bit. I see him stop turning. He still looks a bit warm, but he is definitely much better. I eventually fell asleep with my arm off the bed, hand still grasping his.
