"Mr. Fluffy is my second baby so don't be mean. And you can sit on my couch while I get some games." Daniel sat Mr. Fluffy down and went into a separate room off to the side. His couch wasn't huge so if the two decided to both sit there they would be close. And he only had a giant plush beanbag as a second seating option.

Marcus sat down on the couch. The cat didn't disgust him, he just thought it was awfully strange to have a naked cat. "Of course, I'll wait here for you, but you had better take his place when you get back!" Marcus said, before sitting down next to the cat and cautiously trying to pet the creature.

Daniel soon returned with a deck or cards, Sorry, Uno, and Clue. His favorite games.

"Okay! If none if these work I have many more!" He said in a chipper tone.
Once Daniel came back, the man smiled at his colleague, seeming to think for a moment before saying,

"I want Clue. That sounds good to me." He'd say, knowing he was fairly good at it, though, likely not as good as Daniel.

"Awesome!" Daniel walked over to the couch and his cat moved off the couch, and sat on Daniel's lap once the man was crisscrossed on the small sofa.

"Which character do you want? I always play Professor Plum!" Daniel was bouncing with excitement while smiling ear to ear at the other man. It had been forever since he had guests over, and someone to play games with. character.

"That's my favorite too!" He'd say, laughing again as he looked at Daniel bouncing. "If you're having Plum, I'll take Mr. Green." Marcus added. While Daniel was bouncing, Mr. Fluffy yawned and stretched his paws before sitting up to sit on Marcus's lap instead.

"Awe he likes you~" Daniel cooed and Marcus laughed.

"Maybe he just didn't like bouncing so much on your lap." The man teased, smirking at the man as he placed his arms on the back of the couch for now.

"Well I like bouncing so deal with it Mr. Fluffy."

That was not suppose to sound suggestive, but it sort of did..

The hyper man thought as he set up the game and handed Marcus the Mr. Green. He was excited to begin, mostly because he loved seeing people's faces as he won every round.

"You can go first." Marcus seemed to chuckle a bit at the man's initial comment, not seeming bothered, maybe even seeming a bit embarrassed as he looked down at the game suddenly. He managed to speak a couple of seconds later, saying,

"Yeah of course, it's no biggie!", fairly enthusiastically, before he began his first turn, gently petting the cat as he looked down at the board in front of him, going through the initial moves.

Daniel felt a ping jealously as Marcus was petting Mr. Fluffy. And that feeling confused the man to no end. Was he jealous of the cat? Or did he want Mr. Fluffy in his lap and not his colleagues?

Daniel was lost in thought and failed to realize it was his turn. Daniel was confusing himself further the deeper his thoughts traveled. The Plum game piece was being fiddled with in Daniel's hands as his smile turned to a straight line.

Why am I jealous of my cat for sitting in Marcus's lap? Is my heart okay right now?

Marcus didn't seem to notice the conflict in Daniel, but quickly spoke.

"You had something on your mind in the car, what was it? What were you upset about?" He'd ask, careful to not be too pressing in his words. He didn't want to come across as too forceful to the man. He was just very curious as to what was wrong before, even more so than the game or the cat he was petting.

Funny how Daniel offered to talk because of Marcus's issues and now was being helped with his problems. Daniel was snapped from his thoughts by Marcus speaking. He shoved off his feelings and gave a crooked smile.

"It was nothing, plus we're here because you had problems. You should go first." Daniel took his turn at the game and went through the proper steps, he was already set on three possible options for the Person, Weapon, and Place.

"Also, Mr. Fluffy can sit somewhere else if you don't want him.." Daniel absolutely was not trying to get the cat off of Marcus's lap so he felt less jealously, that would be absurd. .

Marcus looked over at Daniel for a moment, seeming to question what the man was thinking, and what he was doing. He'd smile at him, before slowly picking up the cat and gently setting it down on Daniel's lap.

"Now, there's your cat, tell me what's wrong with you? My problems are just me wishing I had more interested students. Yours seem more serious. If you don't tell me, I'll tie you up until you do." He teased, smirking at him as he waited for a response, not focusing on the game in that moment.
