I couldn't believe it. The whole time I had spent with Bob was just an illusion, a way to protect myself from the loneliness and fear of being trapped on this unknown island. I sat on the beach, with Bob's note in my hand, feeling the weight of the truth. I felt betrayed and deceived, but I also understood that it wasn't intentional. Bob just wanted to protect me and make me feel less alone. But, still, I couldn't help feeling alone and desperate. Now that Bob was gone, I had no one else to trust. I was completely alone on this island, with no way out. I lay on the beach, looking at the sky, wondering if I would ever see anyone else again. I felt sadder and alone than ever and couldn't help wondering if I would be trapped on this island forever.
