Chapter 10 - The labyrinth of emotions

I woke up in a dark, dank room, not knowing how I had gotten there. I tried to get up, but my legs wouldn't hold me, and I fell back to the floor. I touched my head and felt a deep wound, as if someone had hit me with a blunt object. I tried to remember what had happened, but my memories were fuzzy and confused. Had I been attacked by the mystery man or some other danger on the island? I didn't know, but I had to get out of there as soon as possible. So, I crawled along the floor, trying to find a door or a window through which I could escape. But all I could find were stone walls and mud walls, with no way out in sight. I began to feel desperate and to think I was trapped there forever. But then, I saw a light filtering through a crack in the wall. I approached the light and saw that there was a door behind it. I pushed it with all my might and finally managed to open it. I left the room and found myself in a maze of corridors and doors, not knowing which way to go. I felt like I was in a dream, lost in a strange and unknown world.
