Its been a week since Vince and I's alone time.
I've been feeling something very strange in the pit of my stomach. Like something bad was going to happen, I don't know what, but I know its not good.
Vince went out to feed a couple hours ago, despite my willingness, so he should be home soon.
My cell starts to ring, cutting me off from my thoughts, I answer it.
"Hello?"
"Raven! Raven help me! I'm at the house, your fath-" The line goes dead on my mother's frantic voice.
Oh god.. Whats wrong?
I find a piece of paper and write a note for Vince, explaining briefly what happened and where I'm going.
I use my vampire speed and run to my mothers house.
The door is slightly ajar, I open it. As I do, a strange scent hits me.
I can't put my finger on it, but its making me dizzy.
I have to get out, but I'm paralyzed.
I feel myself losing consciousness.
No! Oh god, what about Vince?
"N-..no" I croak, before the darkness consumes me.

I might not be updating for another week, so I thought it'd be best to provide you with a small cliffhanger..
