*Vincent POV

Having my fill I retracted my fangs and sighed, it'll have to do for now. I let the carcass drop to the forest floor, and stood up.

Animal blood does suffice, but only for so long. I have to feed more often when I drink deer or elk.

And no, I'm not a 'vegetarian' vampire, I drink human and animal blood.

I pull out my phone, and dial Raven's number.

Ring, ring.

Ring, ring.

Ring-

"Hi, this is Raven, and you've reached my voicemail, I'll call you back when I get the chance, bye."

I sighed again, I miss her.

My head is fuzzy and the world is spinning as I open my eyes.

"Ah! She's awake, you owe me twenty!"

"Shut it,"

"What... The hell?" I croak.

"Hello Raven,"

I squeeze my eyes shut then open them, I look up to see a man with blonde hair and striking blue eyes.

"Kalib?"

He cocked his head and looked at me, "So you remember me,"

"Yes.. I mean-"

Suddenly his hand came down and gripped my jaw.

"Did I say.." He squeezed tighter making me wince.

"That you could talk?"

I looked into his eyes, I saw hatred. What did I do to him?

"Why?" I managed to get out.

He let my jaw go and walked off.

"You don't remember?"

"No I-"

"Cut the chit-chat, we have work to do." A voice said.

I'm going to tell the truth...

I haven't updated in so long because I feel like I messed up big time!

I considered re-writing, I considered just stopping altogether.

But, rewriting would be really complicated, and I'm not prepared to do so.

So ultimately, I decided to keep writing.

I was really young when I started writing this, and I didn't really have a plot for it, so I had to make one.

I'm not the best writer, but I try...
