"Good morning Class, sorry for my lateness, I was-" He smiled towards Tiffany "-held up." She giggled pathetically, oblivious to this as he has only just woken up after a nap, Cameron gestured to the seat next to Marcus and her smile was instantly replaced with a savage scowl.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" She screeched at me.
I looked at the floor.
"Move!!" She hissed.
I don't know what or how but something came over me, I stood up tall. "How about you?" I smirked poking her shoulder with each word I said. The class burst out into laughter as Tiffany blushed red with anger, she grasp the shoulder of my shirt and pulled me forwards, over the table towards her.
"Listen here! I'm going to let you off very lightly this time, do this again and you will regret it much more than i regret you even being born!" She hissed, tightening her grip before letting go and walking over to the seat with Marcus, casually brushing her shoulders.
"Right, okay, now we've settled down class. I just realized it'e a little late to start a practical so I am just going to let you do your own business or things until next period." He lied back in his chair before pulling out his laptop and beginning to type rapidly, wow, laid back much? I bet he's not going to last long here; especually if he goes around sleeping with the students, I mean... on his first day?!?!
Finally, the bell rang. I breezed through the next three periods before lunch; I made sure to avoid sitting anywhere near Tiffany or Cameron, I'm not that much of an idiot.
Only, lunch was worse than normal. As I walked into the cafetaria with my two best friends, my day took a turn for the worst. At the first sight of me, everyone turned to their pathetic social groups, the rebels, the nerds and the jocks; started gossiping, probably about me.
"OMG it's the freak show" A nerdy girl whsipered to her friend.
"Talk about floral throw up!" A girl with dyed blue and red hair sat in the corner with a group of other rebel type people lighting fags, could they not stick to getting stoned on just weekends? Obviously not.
"Did we just walk into a miserable 50's investigation movie?" A jock poke his friends, laughing; not minding his vocal volume.
I bit my lip attentively as insults came flying from every corner of the room, for every insults; I bit down harder until I pierced the skin and it began bleeding, still then I ignored it.
I started to feel wobbly, expecting Vanessa and Cassandra to be there. I turned around, but they were gone, wait what? Gone where?
I saw Vanessa over in the rebel corner with that same girl as before, offering her a drag.
"I don't smoke." I heard her say, she obviously didn't enjoy their company and she tried to walk away but the red-blue ish head girl had a firm grasp on her arm.
"Get off me Cindy!!" She hissed, slapping Cindy's hand off.
I watched as Vanessa walked over to poor Cassandra who was currently under attack from a gang of cheerful-of-joy cheerleaders attempting to give her a makeover.
"Excuse me ladies, I need my friend back!" Vanessa stated loudly and grabbing Cassandra's arm and pulling her onto her feet and back over to me.
"Thanks for ditching me, I feel the love!" I stated sarcastically, grabbing my tray and walking up to the trolley where we put the trays.
"Christina watch out!" Vanessa screamed, I stopped halt and turned around to see what the matter was, before losing grip from my shoes and crashing to the ground, covering myself in the remainder of the food on my plate.
The room is full of hilarious laughter from every single person.
"Oopsies, my precious bag must have been in your way." Tiffany smirked from her seat before high-fiving everyone around her.
She could have made horrible comments and wicked remarks and I'd have been able to grit my teeth, like I have for the past four years; but i drawled the line at public embarassment.
