"Finally." I muttered to myself, standing up and walking into the kitchen and checking out the contents of the fridge.
It was pretty weird, I hardly ever came over here and as far as I know neither does dad, but we were pretty stocked up on food.
I finally settled on french toast with syrup and cheese, how I could go wrong?
Now, what could I have to drink to top of my amazing dinner.
I looked for a bottle of homemade apple juice but the only thing I could find was ginger ale, screw you dad!
I grabbed a carton of orange juice in one and headed up to my room with a slice of appetizing triple chocolate layer cake. A girl needs to feel special every now and then, plus I've had a shit day so screw the hundreds of calories in it. I can just go for a jog with the girls like they beg me to do nearly every day.
Speaking of the girls, they had a big surprise for me waiting right outside my door god knows when in the morning.
Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Don-
"Uhh!" I groaned as I stepped out of my comfy lovely bed and walked towards the door.
-Ding Dong, Ding dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong-
"Alright I'm coming!!" I yelled.
-Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong
"I don't know who the fuck you think you are but-" I looked up properly to see Vanessa, Cassandra and my mom standing outside the house.
"Sorry, I was asleep though." I muttered.
"It's half eleven on a Saturday morning, how were you still asleep?" Vanessa asked.
Before I had the chance to reply, my mom pulled the freakiest face ever.
"What on earth, mother?" I asked, stepping aside so everyone could walk in.
"Where does your dad keep the high-class wine?" she asked and I pointed her to everything.
"Vanessa, go take Christina to change into some at least.. half decent clothes." What the hell? Vanessa linked her arm with mine and took me to my room.
"What are we doing today?" I asked.
"It's a surprise." Vanessa sang.
I sighed, I could see no point in persisting and just joined her in the search for clothes. I picked out a few things that I thought looked nice but i was told 'too colourful' or 'too boyish'; eventually we settled for a pair of red converse, blue jeans and a red black flannel shirt.
"Good? Do I look okay?" I asked Cassandra.
"It'll have to do." She sighed and walked up to where my mom was at the kitchen counter.
"White or Red?" Mom asked.
"What?"
"Wine, White or Red?"
My mom waited for a minute, when she realised I wasn't going to reply she put a red wine glass on the coffee table in front of me.
"Mom, this is illegal you know." I complained.
"Your dad left a whole load of various alcohols in a big room, what did he expect to happen to the drink, evaporate?"
"This is just wine, right?"
"Yes, just wine. Now drink up." So I drank up and waited for everyone else to finish their glasses.
"Right, now grab your stuff and we'll wait for you in Cassandra's car, don't forget your purse." Vanessa sang again before shooing everyone out.
I grabbed my bag and shoved my purse and my phone in it before walking out and locking the door and then jumping in Cass' mini cooper.
A few minutes into the drive I knew where we were going.
"No, no no no no no no!" I half-yelled.
"You're going in there, no question about it." Mom said.
"But I hate the mall; it's full of posh snobs and bimbo- barbie dolls!" I smacked my hand over my mouth as I realised that I had really shouted that out loud and also, we were in the mall parking lot.
"Not ever for my mom's homemade chocolate fudge cupcake?" as soon as those words reached my ears, my face brightened.
"Fineee, if I don't get that cupcake; some bitch will die today."
So I let them show me around for hours in all sorts of different shops, shops that I would usually NEVER even think of going in; clothes shops, make-up shops, music stored and even wIG SHOPS!
"A wig shop, a wig shop?!" I asked Cassandra.
"Calm the heck down, it's not just wigs. It's hair care stuff." I shook my head.
"Wig shop." I muttered.
We went in about seventeen clothes shops; they were all classy and expensive so guess who was paying as usual.
I stood in the changing room with Nessa and Cass running backwards and forwards with different types of outfits and mom standing in front of the exit so I couldn't make an escape.
"Guys, I don't like any of this stuff. It's either too colourful or depressingly dark, it's not me." I sighed.
"Well, what is you?" Nessa asked.
"Casual, girly but not barbie style girly like Tiffany and her gang of barbie dolls."
After hours of clothes shopping we finally had out choice of clothes, of course we couldn't carry them all around so I payed a little extra to get them delivered.
"Don't worry about the cost, it's not like your dad is poor or anything." Mom said, I pulled a short smile.
"Yeah I guess so, where are we going now?" I said as I noticed we were going nowhere near the parking lot.
