Noel's P.O.V

"Y'know babe we haven't really done anything and I'm getting kind of bored." Am I complaining? Yes, but I don't really care. We have done literally nothing all day.

"Well what would you like me to do about that?"

"I mean I have a few ideas in mind." When I say 'a few ideas' I mean I have one thing in my head and I need it to get done. Immediately. 

"And that would be?"

"Can we go stalk Ocean, she's been acting strange lately and I need to know if it's because of a secret crush." My lovely boyfriend, Mischa, didn't respond with much just a facepalm. After a few minutes of pondering the idea he finally made his choice. As in the right choice.

"Fine, if you'll stop saying you're bored. Get your coat I'll start the car."

Then out we went. And I started verbally narrating what we were doing. "It's a Friday night, Mischa and I are out to solve a case, the case of Ocean and the potential crush." Then I got rudely interrupted.

"Someone watched a detective film last night." And he wasn't wrong but right now we are on a case.

"Thank you for that interruption. Anyways I heard her tell Penny she would be at the Blackwood Cafe tonight so let's start there." So we sped off into the sunset to the cafe. He made sure we parked anywhere but the parking lot so we wouldn't get caught. We slowly sneaked towards towards the window to peak in.

"Dammit she's alone."

"Noel, I really don't think she likes anyone what's the point in this?"

"How do we know she's not having a rendezvous."

"You started by saying crush, now rendezvous?"

"Shh, she's leaving! Hide!" We ended up hiding in bushes while she left with her books, it looked like she was heading to the library. Oh joy, a library on a Friday. I grabbed Mischa's hand and cautiously dragged him towards where Ocean was heading. After a while Mischa got really into what we were doing, he was completely oblivious to everything outside of the situation. The only reason I caught on was because I had to pull him away from running through the street while trying to get a closer look.

After an hour we drove and walked through town. We finally pinned her location down, the beach. She spun around, a full 180  I'm telling you, and we tried to hide from her but it was too late. We had been spotted.

"You guys do know that I've been aware of you two following me like the entire time? Right?"

He quickly slung one of his arms around me before he said, "I do not know what you mean, we were on a date."

"You two went on a date to the library?"

"Alright fine, we were following you." I admitted, completely ashamed.

"And why was that?"

I took a deep breath before I quickly told her everything, "Because I noticed you were acting weird earlier and we were hanging out and I got bored so we started following you, all because I assumed you had a crush, or a date, basically some sort of rendezvous."

She sighed, and told us about how she was just running errands. "Well we are idiots then."

"Big time, and complete stalkers." She was practically rubbing our complete stupidity in our faces. And Mischa was the only one to apologize to her, I was obviously too stubborn to continue to speak to her. His arm was still slung around me and we turned around as we walked back to the car. He said something as we got in.

"We are such losers."

"Don't forget stalkers," I added on.

"Well it's the time we spent together that counts?" He said as he started driving me home for the night.

Yeah, it's the time that counts.

UGH OK THIS IS ADORABLE but like i was lowkey distracted when i wrote this bc i was watching the karate kid and like ralph macchio is so pretty i couldnt not look at him so what wouldve taken 30-45 minutes to write ended up taking longer than the actual movie to write- but yea i rlly rlly appreciate everyone who has read this book and the one person who has requested this story and the first one :))) (but srsly daniel larusso/johnny cade/ralph macchio marry me challenge???)
