It was the next day and the sully siblings were scheduled to have a lesson where the metkayina siblings would figure out how much they needed to learn by watching them swim. "Rina wake up we're going to be late" Tuk yelled shaking the teenage girl up. Eyrina groaned pushing tuk up as she got accustomed to the bright sun that was shining into the marui pod.

As she walked down the beach with Tuk running slightly ahead she saw the group waiting for them. The group consisted of Neteyam, loak, kiri, tsireya and Aonung with his shorter friend who she learned was named Rotxo.

She watched as the three metkayina na'vi gracefully dived into the water unlike the Sullys who managed to jump in like baby ikran trying to fly before they were ready. They swam after the others trying to keep up but failing miserably.

Aonung watched her with amusement. When she locked eyes with him he signed something with his hands. She furrowed her brows and tilted her head in confusion before having to go up for air with her siblings. They tried again but due to their poor technique kept having to go up for air. Tsireya, Aonung and Rotxo came back up gracefully barely causing a stir in the water as they did so. "are you OK?" she asked gently
"you're too fast wait for us" Tuk whined rubbing her eyes "you guys are bad divers you may be good at swinging through trees but-" Tsireya slapped her brother before he finished his sentence. Feeling weirdly confident Eyrina decided to pipe up "I'd like to see you try swing through the forest fish boy" loak Laughed at this and Neteyam smiled at the thought of the fish people attempting to climb the trees of the forest.

Aonung smirked at this challenge as he watched the girl curiously. Feeling flustered under his intense gaze she lowered herself in the water slightly. "we can't understand this finger talk you're doing we can't understand you" neteyam mentions calmly tsireya reassures him they'll teach them as they make their way towards the shore.

They all stand waist deep in the water watching as Aonung makes strange clicking noises with his tongue and a whistling sound. Putting his arms out he says" if you want to live here you must ride" the strange looking creatures chirp happily as they surround the group Eyrina smiles slightly as one approaches her and rubs its nose on her.

"he seems to like you" Aonung mentions wading up to her and the Ilu. "what's his name?" she asks shyly as she continues to give the ilu attention. "his name is Tsyal, like most ilu he's very friendly" The boy says watching the girl with a small smile.

"right get on him then" Aonung tells her almost impatiently. She sighs and attempts to get onto the saddle struggling slightly due to the water making the ilu slippery and the motion of the waves making it difficult to stay in one position. Aonung snickers at this "need help already forest girl?" he mocks she furrows her brows and shakes her head as she finally manages to pull herself onto the creature.

"Rina check it out" neteyam laughs nodding his head over at Loak who, as always, rushes into riding the ilu not even making sure he's doing the right thing. "loak wait-" Tsireya starts before the boy foolishly zooms forward with his ilu. Rina covers her mouth as she giggles as she watches her younger brother fly off the ilu and make his way back to the group huffing. She looks at Aonung who laughs loudly at the boy shaking his head at the foolishness. He then returns his attention to Eyrina who quickly looks away as she catches her staring.

"now make the bond" Aonung says offering the creatures queue to her. She takes it and makes tshaelyu, closing her eyes and breathing in calmly as she adjusts to the feeling. "feel his heartbeat, his breathe, the water splashing against his fins" Aonung says quietly studying the girls face as she has her eyes close. "when you are ready tell Tsyal to go forward" he says stepping back slightly.

She exhales opening her eyes again as she tightens her grip on the saddle before telling the ilu to go. She goes slowly at first not wanting to do the same as loak however the ilu begins speed up. She manages to hold on for a few seconds before she falls off the ilu who quickly makes it way back to her pushing her up to the surface. Again, Aonung erupts into laughter clapping his hands together.

"what did I do wrong?" she asks visibly confused as Aonung never told her that she was doing anything wrong. Aonung, still laughing, finally decides to tell her "your legs were completely wrong you were never going to be able to stay on" Eyrina jaw drops as she looks at the arrogant boy "why didn't you tell me?!" she asks slightly annoyed he finally stops laughing at her failure and smirks "well I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to watch that could I" he chuckles as Eyrina rolls her eyes at the boys arrogance.

She quickly gets back onto the ilu and tries to follow the instructions that Aonung gives her but what he's saying makes no sense to her. Sighing in annoyance Aonung gets closer and grabs her thigh and lower leg moving it into the right position "see like this your thigh has to be further back and your leg has to be bent so you can get the right grip" Eyrinas breathe hitches as she feels his warm hands on her thigh. Shes never been touched like this before nevermind by someone she, much to her dismay, finds attractive. He finally steps back, admiring his work as he gives her the go ahead to move she tightens her grip and starts moving.

This time she manages to stay on the ilu and when she surfaces she smiles "i did it!" she says excitedly as neteyam, kiri and tuk cheer her on. Tsireya smiles and claps gently as Aonung scoffs slightly "you know even toddlers can do that" he mentions as she's grinning on the ilu but she just waves him off not letting him defeat her little victory. "plus you would have never done it without me" he says arrogantly holding onto her ilu as he looks up at her. "yeah yeah what would I ever do without you" she teases holding her heart and looking up into the sky. He rolls his eyes playfully as she gets off the ilu and walks over to Tuk who was excitedly feeding the ilu fish.

Once the lesson was over Eyrina decided to explore the islands beach finding little seashells and rocks to weave into jewellery. That was one of her favourite things to do, scavenge the forest for pretty rocks and jewels that she would then weave into little gifts for her friends and family. She found it calming and loved to watch the faces of her loved ones light up as they received the little trinkets.

She collects many beautiful seashells including a purple one speckled with pinks and blues. It reminded her of her Ikran Alyara who had a beautiful mixture of lilac, pinks and blues making up a beautiful pattern on her body. She decided she'd make it into something for her ikran to wear to incorporate something from the island into her saddle as this is her new home after all.

She found a little rock that sat on the edge of the beach separating the sand and the sea. The sun beat down on it warming her as she focused on weaving the seashell into something similar to a necklace for her ikran. She incorporated many other smaller seashells into it of many different hues of purple, pinks and blue.

As the female na'vi sat there oblivious to the eyes of Aonung and his friends. His friends snickered at her mocking her however aonung didn't join in he just watched occasionally laughing at a comment so his friends wouldn't notice him simply observing the girl who seemed deeply focused on her little project.

Eventually she caught on to the laughs of the group and looked up noticing the boys who laughed at her with no shame with Aonung sat in the middle of them watching her. Her ears went back slightly and her tail curled round her leg for some sort of comfort as she felt vulnerable, not knowing how long they'd been watching her she quickly jumped down from the rock. Hurriedly she made her way to her marui pod feeling embarrassed and a little hurt as she realised Aonung was probably telling them all about her little failure earlier on.
