Eyrina awoke to the sound of a horn. Momentarily panicking as she jumped up not knowing what was happening until Tsireya called out "our brothers and sisters have returned the tulkun are here" Eyrina quickly made her way out to the beach to see the majestic creatures swimming through the sea. She just looked in awe at the beauty of it all the metkayina clearly shared an intimate connection to these creatures as they all rushed out to see their spirit brothers and sisters.

Suddenly she felt a hand pull her out of her trance "come meet my spirit brother" Aonung pulled her forward before getting on an ilu beckoning her to join him on it. She got on behind him holding his shoulders as he gripped her thigh to keep her steady. The touch sent butterflies swarming through her stomach but she tried to hide it as they approached a big Tulkun with tattoos on it's stomach. Eyrina watched as Aonung signed to his tulkun she still didn't know many phrases, struggling to grasp the hand language but she knew ones such as hello, up and down.

"hello my brother" aonung greeted the tulkun through signing

"hello, who is this?" the tulkun questioned curiously eyeing Eyrina

"a girl I met she's a skwxang"

"you like her?"

"No."

"Aonung you are a terrible liar"

"maybe? I don't know she makes me feel weird"

The tulkun let out a noise that sounded like a laugh as he looked at the two. Eyrina looking at Aonung trying to figure out what he was saying. "I'm going to go join neteyam and tuk please tell your spirit brother it was lovely to meet him!" Eyrina smiled at Aonung before swimming over to her siblings

"she is very pretty"

"yeah I guess"

"she's sweet too unlike you"

"yeah yeah whatever"

The arrival of the Tulkun was a cause of great celebration and Tsireya quickly gathered Eyrina and Kiri to join the rest of the women to prepare for the nights celebrations. Eyrina was given a beautiful outfit covered in crystals and shells and the elders began braiding tiny shells and crystals into her hair. Eyrina felt pretty as she saw her reflection. "you look gorgeous kiri" she complimented when the girl came out with similar attire. Tsireya ran over and pulled the two over to dance. Kiri immediately refused and ran over to where tuk and neytiri sat but Eyrina happily joined the group of girls.

Tsireya had taught the girls this dance before as preparation so they wouldn't be left out during the celebration. Eyrina loved dancing and singing whilst she lived with the omaticaya always joining in the festivities. The dance was different to any she had ever learnt but she picked it up quickly. The dance consisted of a lot of hip movement as they moved their arms from side to side almost mimicking a wave.

The tulkun began harmonising creating beautiful music for the clan to dance to. The sound of the Tulkuns was magical and truly sounded like that of the instruments the forest na'vi would play. Then the boys came out her brothers had opted out of this of course but they were adorned with seashells, coral and even feathers. Aonung seemed to lead them with a bigger headdress and shoulder piece than the rest. Eyrina couldn't help but stare at the boy as he looked like a powerful leader.

Aonung watched Eyrina dancing with perfect rhythm next to the other girls of the clan. There were many beautiful girls next to her but he couldn't get his eyes off the forest girl. As the boys began to do their dance the competition begun. Tsireya had explained this before that the tulkun would gradually speed up the rhythm of their songs and the first side to lose their flow would lose. Tsireya lead the girls and Aonung led the boys as they begun.

Eyrina and Aonung kept looking at each other smirking as they competed against one another both determined to win. Eventually the boys were the first to lose their rhythm with Aonung stumbling as he watched Eyrina earning groans and complaints from his friends. Luckily none of them realised why the boy had stumbled if they had he would have never heard the end of it.

The girls celebrated their win all embracing one another and cheering merrily. Tsireya hugged Eyrina and they twirled around in excitement that they'd actually won. The celebration was followed up with a feast. Ronal made her sacred dish which tasted divine in Eyrinas opinion, even tuk devoured her entire portion. The Sullys were now fully involved in all the activities and even included in conversations as they listened to the elders tell story's of the first songs and sing the song cords of mighty warriors who had passed.

Eyrina snuck away from the crowd to enjoy some time of quiet. She enjoyed the celebrations but she just needed some time to take in the day. She called upon an ilu and led on it as she watched the stars. "why are you hiding?" a voice called out she looked up and smiled as she saw Aonung. Shaking her head gently she simply replied "not hiding just taking it all in today has been wonderful" he smiled and nodded

"I like your shoulder piece it really looks good on you" Eyrina complimented stroking one of the feathers hanging off of it "not nearly as good as-" suddenly they heard a voice yell over to them interrupting what the boy was going to say

"Aonung what are you doing with that freak"

"don't tell me you have a thing for the forest freak" a voice taunted. The two turned around to see Aonung a former group approach them. Aonung quickly made his ilu go further from Eyrina and chuckled "like her? You can't be serious my father made me check up on her" Eyrina furrowed her brows at his response suddenly feeling insecure.

"yeah as if you'd like that thing not even a na'vi she has demon blood" one chuckled maliciously Eyrina hoped Aonung would defend her but instead he just went closer to his friends ushering them further away. She sat up and turned around and began to steer her ilu away from the group. "awww you gonna cry?" one of them yelled after her as she quickly made her way to the shore.
