As the sun began to descend on the horizon, dusk had begun to set in

To the west an orange hue was emerging from the city skyline but was ever so gradually receding

From the east the darkness of night had crept into the skies above

Despite this, the artificial light of the city granted visibility

From the observation deck of the tallest tower of the city a red liquid swirls in a glass container

Momentarily it stops and is brought to lips a tall masculine figure who's eyes observe the city below

Thoughts wondering as to the next steps they should take

They tended do this whenever they needed to ponder their plans for the future

Currently the topic of their ruminating had been something that had troubled them for quite sometime now

Every precaution that could of been taken had been taken

Yet they couldn't remove that sliver of doubt from their mind that something could go wrong

Before that line of could go any further their silence was ended by a sound emerging from behind them

An electronic ding had rung, signalling that the elevator had came to a stop on the top floor they resided on

As doors smoothly parted light leaked into room the elevator

From the reflection it casted on the window the original resident of the room could identify a single silhouette

The footsteps of the newcomer made their approached before stopping a few paces behind them

???: "I assume our guest shall arrive soon?" despite having their solitude ruined they spoke in a cordial manner

Having been asked a question the new arrival retrieved a laptop they had previously held under their arm before the clicking of keys on keyboard echoed throughout the silent room

???: "Yes sir, our satellites have predicted Inquisitive will be within the city in approximately twenty three minutes" remaining humble they tried to keep the noise they made to a minimum

Hearing this pleased the individual as they released a satisfied hum before taking another sip of their beverage, taking in the silence they once more delved into thought only to be once again interrupted

???: "Forgive me sir but why now of all times? Surely with more eyes being on him than before interacting with him now is only more dangerous" they were sure to deliver their own skepticism in their superior politely

Once more first individual hummed, seemingly approving of their observation before glancing off to setting sun once again

???: "A valid concern indeed, but it is my belief that now is the perfect time to play this card. With my more eyes on Inquisitive than ever his influence on the masses is at a all time high, not to mention he is sure to rise within ranks of the heroes therefore supplying us with even more sources of information" their words were enlightening and never once condescending to other person in the room they considered a comrade despite their difference in status
