Bryan was ecstatic, for today was his wedding day. He was getting married to his fiancee, Delores. His cousin, Andrew, was happy for him. He had on his suit, and was this close to marrying the woman that brought so much happiness into his life.
Just when was about to go to the wedding, the phone rang. He answered it. His smile soon turned into a frown. He hung up the phone.
"Who was it, cousin?" asked Andrew.
"My fiancée," replied Bryan, his face staring at the floor.
"What happened?"
"She's not feeling well. The wedding has been canceled."
It was such a huge disappointment. The DJ was supposed to be playing the music, and all of Bryan's family members blew all their money on hotel reservations. They mostly came from Minnesota, and South Dakota.
The wedding was for naught.
