A/N: What I'm Going to do with This Story

I'm going to be honest.

I don't care about this story anymore, I really do not. I just do not have the care to force myself to continue it. I'm not going to lie, I have SO MANY drafts for various stories, and I pay more attention and thought to those than I do to this one. This book is always the last one I think about working on, and if I do think about it, my first thought is, "...I don't want to."

I don't know where I'm going with the plot, the story is a mess, it's super cringe cause I wrote it when I was in 8th/9th grade, and it's bad writing overall. Like I'm just kind of rewriting the show but with an OP girl I swapped in for Ash, and it's gotten boring, especially for me.

And I HATE that I made my OC able to understand Pokémon like she does. It's such a pain, especially when none of the other human characters can understand them and I have to make my OC translate for them every single time in order for everything to make sense.

Anyway, I didn't plan this book out, the pacing is weird, and I put in WAY too many plot devices:

~her challenging gyms
~her being a champion
~her being part of the G-Men
~her being a psychic
~her being the 'True One'
~her relationship with KC even though he hasn't been in this book once yet cause I don't know how to fit him in
~her father's storyline that I was going to try and expand more on
~Kirlia's subplot with the Pokémon Royals, etc.
~KC's storyline about being a breeder or whatever I was going to make him

Like it's too much to juggle, especially since, again, I didn't plan this series out whatsoever.

The only thing I kind of like is her relationship with KC, but it's still written poorly.

And there is no way I'm going to try and rewrite it all of this. Just no.

So I hate to do this, because I hate it when authors of books I love do it, but I'm discontinuing the Journey Through ___ series. It's just not going to happen, at least in the long foreseeable future, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

Thanks to everyone that's stuck with it this long, and I'm terribly sorry to cut it short like this. But I won't delete this or Journey Through Kanto, so you can still reread this whenever you want, if you want to for whatever reason.

And as a parting treat for this book, I'll show you the teams I planned out for her for future regions (cause that's the ONE thing I did plan lol):
