I live in a world
Where knives are wrapped in chiffon
Where presents have thorns instead of roses
Where gift wraps are decorated
With a note of spite insteadI live in a world
Where people lie to your face with a smile
Where their sensitivity scale contradicts maturityWhere stupidity replaces smartness on the mark sheet
Where they're clueless about the meaning of brutalityWhen nights are dark
When days are bright
Where pain rises in the place of sun
Where frowns replace smiles
Where the world is ending
The plague is spreading
Where they're going down
With a rush of negative adrenalineThe sun is darkening
Shadows are creeping in
The visions are blinding
Visions greater than eclipses
Pain greater than relief
Soothe the ache, the scar inside
Take me to a never ending world
Where flashes are brighter than shadows
