I wonder how many lies I would've told
You and myself
I'm the happiest to be here
The anxious
I would walk down the aisle
Draped in a lie
Maybe you were never the one
This maybe ate me alive
Would've told myself truths to tell lies
Who were you?
I never knew
Or my mind never let me
There's no need to worry now
There's all the need now
Look in the mirror
Who are you?
Dive deep within yourself
The only way to emerge
Is to submerge in the truth
Breathe in reality and step forward
Better bullets dodged
This death better than that death
I never wanna be yours
If we were never supposed to be ours
