CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE
They were allowed to go on the back of their horses, travelling back to a big gate, which looked more like a wall. A man wagged a red flag as the door was opened, Violet, Ellie and Joel were on there own horses as they went into what was a completely working settlement. They continued before Violet turned around hearing Joel scream out his brothers name,
"Tommy!"
The man standing up helping with construction looked up and ran down to get to Joel. Joel hopped off his horse as he ran to meet Tommy in the middle. Joel threw his arms around his brother bringing him into an embrace as Tommy spoke chuckling,
"What the fսck you doin' here?"
They held each other, as Violet looked at Ellie exchanging a glance. Joel spoke quickly letting out a laugh before pulling his brother back in for another hug,
"I came here to save you."

Violet, Ellie and Joel sat eating the first home cooked meal in a while. Violet ate quietly as she cased her surroundings, honestly feeling quite uneasy being where they were. She didn't like the way Maria was staring at her. Maria spoke watching Ellie scoff down her food quickly, Joel doing the same,
"There's more if you need it."
Violet nodded as she made eye contact with Maria again, they had taken her guns but they didn't know about the three switch blades she had hidden around in her clothes and on her body. She ate quickly as Joel spoke politely,
"Thank you, ma'am. It's been a while since we've had a proper meal."
