Natalie's POV:

3PM

The nurses finally discharged me from the infirmary, being cooped up in that small room for the past few days had taken a toll on me. Price had told me that I wouldn't be able to go on missions for the next week, or whenever I get better. Although I was still sore and bruised, I was glad to be able to sleep in my own bed.

As I made my way back to my room, I thought about the past few days. What Tristan did angered me, but what bothered me even more was that I have no recollection of anything that happened after I became unconscious. The boys had visited me every day, and were constantly updating me on the Graves situation. Keegan and Ghost, especially, had been by my side almost constantly, only ever leaving if Price needed them. Though, it seemed like Ghost had a stick up his ass whenever Keegan and I had the smallest interactions. Speaking of, I haven't seen him yet today. I might go to his room later to see how he's doing. I sighed in relief as I settled into my bed, closing my eyes, I let out a contented sigh, finally able to relax in the comfort of my own bed.

8PM

I woke up to soft knocking on my door. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I got up to answer it, expecting to see Ghost standing on the other side since he was always by my side when I was in the infirmary. But when I opened the door, it was Keegan. He had pushed past me into my room, and I couldn't help but feel a little surprised.

"Hey, sorry to barge in like this," he said, his eyes creased under his mask, which I could only assume was a smile. "I just wanted to check on you and make sure you're okay."

"Oh, thank you," I replied, not sure what to make of his sudden visit.

"Listen, I know you've been through a lot lately, but I just wanted to say that I'm here for you. If you need anything, anything at all, just let me know."

He placed a hand on my shoulder as I nodded, feeling a little overwhelmed by his attention. "Thank you, Keegan. I appreciate it, really."

"No problem... And hey, I was thinking, the guys are going to grab a drink if you'd want to come? Just to take your mind off things, and I'm paying, of course."

I hesitated for a moment, not sure if that was a good idea. "I appreciate that, I'll think about it... I just got discharged and I'm just a little tired."

"Hey, I understand. No pressure or anything. Just let me know, okay?"

"Sure, I will," I replied, feeling a little relieved that he didn't push any further.

As he left my room, I couldn't help but feel a little confused by his sudden behavior. Still, I couldn't deny that his attention made me feel a little better.

I decided to go to Ghost's room since I was already awake, you know, to thank him. I walked down the hallway, trying to keep my thoughts in order.

As I reached his door, I knocked softly, hoping he would hear me. There wasn't an answer, so I turned the doorknob and peeked inside. The room was empty, and I felt a little disappointed.

Just as I was about to check his office, I heard a noise coming from the bathroom. It sounded like someone was in there. I hesitated for a moment, not wanting to intrude, but then I heard his voice. "Is that you, Zero?" he asked, and I realized that he has never called me by my actual name. I breathed a sigh of relief and stepped inside the room. Ghost was now standing in front of me.

"What?" He asked me coldly.

"I just wanted to talk," I said. "If it isn't a good time, I can leave..." I noticed that he looked a little tense, and I didn't want to push it.
