Crowded room

I was in a crowded room

I knew I was going to see you there

You saw me too

But I can't tell if you care

You waved at me

Or did you just wave at my friend?

Is this it?

Is this how we end?

We were both in a crowded room

But our eyes didn't meet

I regret not talking to you

Cause you're always so sweet

You had your friends

And I had mine

So I guess even though we didn't talk

I should be fine

And I am

Until I see you again

Cause then I'll have to grab my book

And my pen

Then I'll write lines

They all sound the same

Because I'll be too afraid to talk to you

It's such a shame

In a crowded room

I noticed that you care

Did you not see me

Or did you just pretend that I'm not there?

A crowded room was where I noticed

That losing you would hurt my heart

In a crowded room was where I wished

That we could go back to the start.

I actually wrote this ten days ago.
