Two paths

We walk two different paths

Sometimes, I see him passing by

I'll look him in the eyes, he'll flash a smile

Cause he just is that kind of guy

We walk two paths

Which aren't too far apart

As much as I hate to admit it

His path's walker owns my heart

And here's something

I'm more afraid to tell

I think that the walker of his path

Likes me aswell

His face lights up

As soon as he smiles back

He pays a lot of attention

While I talk about my cat

Rarely, our paths cross

But when they do, it feels right

I guess you could say

He's my daylight

Maybe one day

Our paths continue as one

And until then

I'll be waiting for it to come.

This was the first poem about my new muse.
