He knocks on her door
Afraid of her reaction when she'll open
He doesn't think she'd take him back
But he's still hoping
She opens the door
And is quite surprised as she sees him
In a sad, guilty tone he says "hey"
And asks if she'll let him in
She makes tea for both of them
And asks him "what do you want?"
He takes a deep breath before saying
"I want to take you to my favourite restaurant"
She shakes her head
Cause she doesn't want it to end like last time
He takes her hand and assures her
That it will be fine
As she's driving the car
He apologizes for everything he did
That he now realized
It made her feel like shit
She wipes away a tear
And tell him that it's fine
She asks what he's gonna have for dinner
And if they'll share a wine
He responds "we shouldn't go to the restaurant"
She agrees to take him to her home
They have a second chance to love each other
And drink the wine they stole in Rome.
