Concert poetry

You are a poem

One I can't fully understand

I can't stop reading

When you're playing in the band

I love sitting with you

After the concert

Because no matter what you do

I've no fear of getting hurt

I recall the time

When I put my hand on your shoulder

Yours will gently touch different spots

When outside, it gets colder

You look at me

Stolen glances

And your eyes while smiling make me think

That I have chances

We don't see each other often

But when we do, we both can't look away

And everytime after the concert

I'm secretly hoping that you'll stay

You're pure concert poetry

In just being there

And I can't tell if you can tell

But about concert poetry, I care.
