Falling into Escapism

The pretty woman with auburn hair sat at a desk in a university information center. Her makeup done flawlessly, with a subtle smoky eye, diamond cluster earrings, and her signature mauve lipstick. Joy was a popular receptionist at Rangsit University. Not only was she friendly and knowledgeable, but she had a way of making people relax around her.

She was also known as one of the prominent gossips on campus, but that didn't stop people from talking to her. Beauty was the grease that got tight lips talking, and she used it to her advantage. Knowing what secrets were okay to tell, and which were not was also another reason people didn't mind. She knew which lines to never cross...that was the sum of who Joy Nakarn was .

On the surface she was as she appeared a cute receptionist with a liberal tongue, but in reality she was smart, innovative, and one of P'Pakin's information network heads. Her ears were open 24/7, and often minute and obscure information she'd heard payed off in the biggest of ways. The fact that she was technologically gifted didn't hurt the situation either.

So after hours she slipped into the technology departments computer lab, and used one of the computers to hack into the signal of the small devices sitting next to her in the ...2 small tracking receivers that had been lifted off of Phayu and Rain's cars.

(Flashback)

Pakin leaned against his desk as Phayu asked for a favor.

"Also P' I think you'll find what you need attached to my car or Rain's. There are too many factors here, and how this person knew to capture us on camera is no coincidence. It's almost like they know where we are at all times. Even Rain's manager doesn't know where he is every hour." Phayu trailed off.

Phayu could hear the men outside checking his car over, and as they continued their conversation a small knock sounded at the  door. Chai walked over, and smoothly accepted something from the guard outside before closing the door again.

A small black receiver the size of a 1 inch square was set on the wood of the desk, and Phayu bit the curse back before it left his lips...a fucking bug.

That same bug now sat next to Joy along with the one they'd pulled from Rain's car, and setup to retrace the signal. It didn't take long to finish her task, after all the gear was nowhere near professional grade.

'Damn Internet'

She idly thought as she printed out the coordinates, and IP address attached to the small plastic devices. Whoever had set them up must have assumed they would never be found, or it wouldn't matter. Either way she copied the information and sent it off to her boss, and then started on her next task...Identifying the culprit.

As Joy continued on with her tasks Phayu pulled into the driveway of his home. His house was by no means lesser than Rain's, but where Rain clearly preferred the comfort of technology Phayu opted for comfort and greenery.

A beautiful wood table sat in the shade of an oversized umbrella in the front yard. Potted plants lined the fence from left to right, giving the appearance of a small barrier of trees. Rain was still exhausted  so he was currently resting in the arms of his boyfriend, a fact that gave him no end of pleasure and embarrassment.

Phayu wanted to give a tour, but the group was obviously tired. Rain's mother looked ready to keel over, and so he dropped his baby on the couch with a short kiss and ushered the lovely woman to one of the 3 bedrooms.

Prapai didn't need anyone to tell him where to go, and without a word dragged a sleepy Sky with him to the room he usually stayed in. It wasn't like they slept over each others  house often, but he always had a place to crash for his best friend or his brother. He idly thought of his brother as he made his way back to the living room, and scooped up an already sleeping Rain.

Saifah had no idea what was going on, and he wasn't even sure he'd have time to tell his younger twin before everything was dealt with.  He walked down the hallway to the back where his bedroom lay. While  Rain's house had 2 floors, Phayu's had only one. In his past wild days he'd found it better for most situations, but as things were currently progressing he found himself second guessing that strategy.

As he pushed open the door of the bedroom Rain tightened his arms around Phayu's neck, and a small kiss was pressed into his neck. Changing his mind he made a beeline to the chair in the corner of his room, and sat down..his arms full of the adorable man latched onto him like a cute koala. They sat there silently like that for god knows how long, until Phayu drew a breath in to break the silence.

Low snores sounded from the man who had relaxed again in his arms, and couldn't help the smile the corner of his lips. Letting himself allow the tension to seep out of his body he got up, and let the two of them settle down into the sheets of the bed. Undressing first he threw the clothes on the chair they'd just vacated and moved on to Rain.

Pulling shorts over slim hips, and past knees that he kissed Phayu let the shorts join his clothes on the chair. Then came a shirt, and underwear that was the last barrier between skin to skin contact. At this point the entirety of the day had been spent at the hospital, or taking care of things. As Phayu slid into the bed, and pulled Rain to him to share the warmth of each others skin he vaguely thought about what was to come.

His thoughts were interrupted by a cute smacking noise, and realized a sleepy Rain had woken a little and was seeking a kiss. Bending his head he pressed his lips to Rain's soft ones, and felt his heart constrict as it was reciprocated before he fell back into sleep.

'Love you Rain',  Phayu absentmindedly thought to himself as he  started to drift off, before his eyes snapped open once again.

'Love......oh shit'

As he silently acknowledged his feelings the phone he'd tossed on the nightstand next to the bed rang.

*ring.....ring*

Deftly Phayu picked it up as he sat up in the bed; the sheet pooling at his hips and slightly lifted off the sleeping Rain. The caller said only three words, and Phayu's mouth set in a grim line before hanging up.

" We found 'em."
