Fresh White Tee

The Sunlight shone down on Rains face waking him from his sleep, and he patted the space next to him looking for Phayu. The spot next to him was deflated, and cold. Disappointed he lay back and savored the aches and pain. He knew his thoughts sounded like a teenage girl, but he couldn't help the satisfaction with finally bedding his man.

The sex had been everything and so much more. Flashes of the night before made him flush, and he turned over on his stomach and yelled into the pillow.

Could you die from happiness?

He hoped not, but if it could happen he'd want  one more round. He rolled on the bed some more, and the sun glinted off the metal ring on his hand. A slow smile crossed his face as he gazed at the platinum ring, and couldn't help letting his mind wander.

After the incident at the warehouse he'd had to push a lot of projects back, and work around other schedules. Needless to say he'd been very chaotic, and a little depressed. On one hand he didn't have to worry about creepy people butting in his business,but in one fell swoop he'd lost his manager and some trust in people.

Honestly he had thought for the most part he'd gotten off Scott free, but the nightmares and wariness of people said otherwise. It was frustrating not being able to function like he used to, but Phayu was constantly with him so it helped.

Phayu wasn't immune to the repercussions either, and in the end he too had things to deal with. Mainly things like moving his shop to a different location. They had to eventually hand Chatri over to the police, and of course that came with revelations about certain locations used by Chatri's drug ring.

Phayu had little to no problems because his shop was successful despite the location, but other businesses had issues. P'Phakin decided to do something useful with Chatri's ill gotten money, and reimbursed the inconvenienced store owners. Rain wasn't sure that was exactly legal, but so far nobody had said anything.

His fingers swiveled the ring on his hand as he remembered the day he'd received it.

" Ughhhhh"

Rain slammed his hand down on his desk, and sighed for what felt like the 16,000th time. Things were so out of order because of everything that had happened. His schedules were a mess, and worst of all he was behind. He thanked God for the news coverage of his part in the drug ring, or else his  reputation might have completely tanked.

A glass of iced tea was set in front of him, and he looked up with gratitude. Phayu had been helping him out here and there, and for that he was so grateful. Not only was his boyfriend capable, but he was also so sweet.

Phayu could see how frustrated he was, and so he'd proposed a date for the day. He was almost done with work, and wanted to hurry up and see what the man had in store for him. He raised his head, and waited for the kiss.

He wasn't disappointed as Phayu slanted his mouth over his, and as his tongue slid inside he savored the small pleasure of a kiss.

" My good boy....are you almost ready?"

He could see how stressed Rain was, and couldn't wait to take him out to relax. A hour later they were dressed, and hopped into Phayu's car. As much as he loved his bike he wanted to enjoy the drive with Rain, and so they drove down the streets with the top rescinded.

They drove to one of his friends seafood restaurants, and indulged in fresh prawns and crab. Then after a couple of drinks he was driving to his surprise. They drove down winding roads until he pulled into his spot, and led the cute man to a bench. The two of them sat down, and looked out over the city. Ever since the night with 'Pai he'd wanted to bring Rain here.

Since it wasn't only his spot he'd asked his best friend if it was okay, and as soon as he'd relented he'd started making more plan's. They sat in silence enjoying the view, but soon Rain broke it to speak.

"P'Phayu?.... Have we been here before?"

"Hmmm?...Why?"

" I can't quite put my finger on it, but something seems familiar about this place."

Laughing at his loves ability to observe he corrected him.

"It's not that you've been here before, but you've sat on this before."

He patted the bench, and waited for Rain to connect two and two together. He'd pulled a lot of strings to get the bench from LA to Thailand, but he didn't regret it one bit. The box in his pants was burning a hole in his pocket, but he wanted this to be perfect.

Rain turned around, and ran his fingers over the etching in the back of the bench and smiled softly.

"Soon to be...P'Phayu"

He  turned to the man beside him in touched silence, and then watched with round eyes as he pulled a box out of his pocket.

"You know you came into my life when I wasn't expecting anything. My every moment with you has been special, exciting, terrifying..."

He made eye contact with Rain as he smiled at him, his hands trembled a little as Rain knew he was reliving part of that night.

" ...and happy. We started our Soon to be in LA so I wanted to bring where it all started here, so whenever we needed to start something new all we have to do is stop by. This isn't a proposal Rain...it's a promise. I want to learn so much more about you, but I'm too jealous to let anyone think they can stand a chance with you. So I want to start a new Soon to be right now...Soon to be All Mine."

He pulled the rings out of the box, and showed Rain the storm symbols that were etched into the sides, and he felt his heart melt. He could see rain symbols on the ring for Phayu, and felt the smile split his face.

As he put the ring on He reached up, and gathered Phayu's face in his hands and kissed him with everything he was feeling. They broke off and rested their heads together. Sticking his hand out next to Phayu's, he watched as their rings reflected light and thought.

'Oooh Shiny.'
