Double Trouble

I Just wan't to take a moment to thank ALL OF YOU. I haven't been writing for that long, but when I started, I had little to no confidence at all. I managed to post the very first chapter, and I remember being so happy because of a single comment. Y'all leave such awesome comments! I remember cackling to some, smiling to some, and so on. Thank you! Also over 13k reads already?!?!?!

The sheer amount of ' marks used in this chapter gives me a headache, and makes my fingers feel like dropping right off. And I apologize in advance for... things.

"Focus, Lloyd. Control the power inside you. When you feel a surge welling up, harness it." Jay instructed Lloyd. Lloyd was holding a light bulb he was supposed to light with just his powers, and as the master of lightning, Jay was in charge of teaching him that.

"I understand. I am in control." Lloyd took a deep breath and griped the light bulb tightly, as a small glow appeared inside it.

"Come on, Lloyd. You can do it." Jay cheered as Lloyd stared the light bulb down. As much as Lloyd had wanted to succeed, Lloyd jut simply couldn't control his power well enough, and the light bulb shattered into pieces.

"Aargh! Stupid light bulb!" Lloyd cursed and turned to the ninja with an angry frown.

"You're putting too much pressure on me. Let me have one more try." Lloyd demanded as Kai shook his head from side to side with an apologetic smile.

"Uh, Sorry, Lloyd. That was the last light bulb." Kai said and pat Lloyd's shoulder. (y/n) crouched down in front of Lloyd with a face professionalism, or what the other ninja thought as professionalism at least, since he had the most experience with young kids.

"I'll get you some more by noon, so don't look so sour, alright?" (y/n) tried to comfort Lloyd. (y/n) was more than happy that to do his part in training Lloyd by providing him supplies, and keep the training in balance and make food for his family. Although he sometimes wondered if he was acting a bit too much like a house husband than a ninja. 

"Clean up, Lloyd. We'll continue training tomorrow." Cole said and handed Lloyd a broom, but Lloyd only scowled and walked to the punching back and started taking his anger on it with the broom as his weapon.

"What am I doing wrong, Sensei Wu? I can't seem to teach him to control his power." Jay asked Wu with a sigh. The team kept their eyes on Lloyd as he raged at the punching bag. One of his attacks made his broom slip from his hands and hit him on the head.

"You dare to defy the Green Ninja!?" Lloyd yelled at the punching bag before the 'fight' continued again, with Lloyd even madder than before.

"Patience, Jay. Sometimes, the greatest opponent we face is ourselves, and that's especially true of Lloyd. Remember where he came from. He's the son of Lord Garmadon. It's going to take time for him to embrace the light." Wu said from the side.

"Emphasizing on that he is a child. And don't forget he's training in much different conditions than when all of you were still in training." (y/n) added as Jay nodded in understanding towards both Wu and (y/n). Just then Nya walked in wearing her nicer red dress as she greeted the team.

"Hey, guys."

"Hey, Nya!" The guys greeted before moving to talk a bit further away while Nya walked up to Jay.

"Hey, Jay. Uh, wanna come by the autobody shop later?" Nya brushed a strand of hair behind her ear before smiling at Jay.

"Uh, the autobody shop?" Jay questioned her.

"Yeah. I got a part-time job. Thought I could fix up the Ultra Sonic Raider in my off time. Maybe if you come over, I can show you what I've been working on." Nya proposed as Jay perked up with a flustered smile.
