He'll certainly give you the silent treatment. That's how he handles things when he's upset with you. In his eyes, it's better to talk later than when he's upset in case he says something mean unintentionally.

He'll probably try to avoid you at that moment.

He might get easily annoyed at something small.

He will NEVER yell loudly at you. He might get snappy but he'll never scream at you.

He won't be as funny or playful like he normally is.

His sarcasm might start to sound mean instead of funny.

He might want to go for a walk or leave the house to clear his head until he's ready to talk.

Eventually, he does open up and talk about it. He'll communicate with you calmly once he's ready but you can push him.
