I was happy. No one had returned home yet and the house was ours.
"BESTFRIEND!!!" I yelled from the kitchen. I knew Deejay was in the shower, so I decided I should bother her.
"WHAAAAT?!" She yelled back and I couldn't stop laughing.
"HURRY UP, THE FOOD IS ALMOST DONE!" I smiled at the last bit of scrambled eggs.
I had took a shower already and I was bored without Deejay. I heard the shower cut off as soon as I cut the fire off. My hair was still wrapped up in a towel because I was too lazy to take it off. Too much arm energy. I was making plates now. Deejay came in the kitchen. I turned, handed her her plate and when I looked up, I knew exactly what I shouldn't be thinking.
"Uhh, be right back." I said looking down basically to avoid any eye contact.
Instead of just letting me go, she had to be difficult, "And where are you going?" She asked, moving into my path.
"To the room to get clothes." I coughed.
"I think you're just fine in what you have on."
"I have on a towel." I glared and tried to move but she moved right in front of me.
"My point." She said.
I looked down, biting my lip. I shrugged and reached on my tip toes to kiss her. It was a distraction, I turned while we kissed and when I knew I was where I needed to be I tried to dart away.
That was a dumb idea.
She grabbed my hand quickly and pulled me back, "Nope." And that was the end of any type of 'clothes'.

"Bestfriend, you woke?" I poked her cheek. I missed her already.
"Hmm?" She said, and I wrapped myself around her.
"I think I like you."I whispered.
She opened her eyes, "I know I like you."
I pressed my lips to hers, lying on top of her.
"This may be lust." I said.
She shrugged, "I wanna find out if it is."
"And what does that mean?" I asked, getting just a little excited.
"I wanna see if it's lust, if it is, our relationship won't last long, if it does, we'll last. Wanna see?"
"I do." I said quietly.
"Okay, good, ten seventeen sixteen. Our date." Deejay said.
"It's really hot to be October." I said.
"Yeahh, it is."She yawned.
"You tired?" I asked, and she nodded, "Goodnight hun."
It was only four in the afternoon so I decided to go to sleep also.

It was eight when I woke up. Deejay was sitting up playing a game. I was groaning, still laying down. I laid on my stomach. My head was hurting and in between my thighs were too.
"Babe?" Deejay said.
I lifted just a little, "Yes?"
"Finally you're woke."
I smiled and got up, wrapped myself around her.
"I missed you," she said. I began placing kisses on her neck.
"I missed you too." I spoke inbetween kisses.
"I miss me too." She laughed.
I glared at her, "Just shh."

She paused the game, and turned around. I was pouting at first.
"I'm just playing babe."
I rolled over the bed and covered my head, "Sure, okay."
"Baby, you mad?"
"Nope."
"Yes you are." She smiled.
"Whatever you say."
"I say you shouldn't be mad at me."
I nodded at her and closed my eyes to try to sleep.
"Baby, I'm sorry." she'd won instantly as soon as she said the words.
"Deejay, play yo game."
"That's boring, I wanna bother bae."
I pinched the bridge of my nose, and shut my eyes, "Good lord, oh god, please bless my heart." I pressed my head to the pillow.
"Best friend?" She began poking me.
"Pssssst? Bestfriend?"
I sat up glaring at her, "We're not best friends."
She smiled mischievously, "Right we're best friends forever and ever."
"Just petty." I said, laying down and covering my head.
"But you like me." I knew she was smiling.
"Shut up."
