Let me share with you a personal experience I had. I was 24 years old that summer when my father passed away, leaving us with the greatest pain we had ever felt. One day, we were all taking a nap at noon - my mother, my niece, and I slept in the bedroom, while my brother and husband slept in the living room. Suddenly, my eyes opened by themselves, and I found myself unable to move my body. To my surprise, I saw a figure standing beside my bed, at the foot of it. I thought it might be my brother, but he was snoring away in the living room. Then it hit me - the figure was much taller than my brother, and I remembered the saying that ghosts are three feet above the ground. Yes, it was my father. I was bleeding in my heart with emotions and, of course, a little scared. I couldn't see his face as it seemed to be covered by a black cloth, but I knew it had to be him. (I won't go into further detail.) Although I wanted to call my mother, I couldn't do it. Tears streamed down my face, and finally, I was able to move. I got up and woke up my mom, telling her that I had seen my dad. She replied that it was his first day.
