A girl was home alone one night, for the first time, with only her dog to keep her company. The girl listened to the news about a serial killer on the loose and went to bed after locking all the doors, but she had forgotten to close one window.
Suddenly, she was awakened by the sound of dripping water. Completely scared, she tried to go back to sleep and put her hand under the bed for her dog to lick. As the dripping sound continued, she went to check the faucets in the kitchen, bathroom, and everywhere else, but found nothing.
She went back to her room and put her hand down again for the dog to lick. The dripping sound continued and the girl was too scared to fall asleep. But as her hand was licked from under the bed, she slowly drifted off to sleep.In the morning, when she opened the wardrobe, she found her dog killed and hanging upside down. The dripping sound came from the dog's blood. On the cupboard door, she saw a message that read, "Humans can lick too".
