Chapter 2

The twins, well wanda, seemed to be a bit relaxed towards the russian as she continued to stay with them. At one point she saw wanda stacking up the biscuits and smiled, looking at her brother.

Her brother didn't react except pointed his head slightly towards the woman, wanda seemed to forgot she was there and quickly stopped playing with the food and cautiously eating with her head down. She looked scared like she was expecting nat to just grab the food and leave.

Natasha didn't comment on the action but instead smiled, she was confused on why pietro didn't eat that much while wanda did most of it.

"Are you not hungry pietro?" she asked gently.

He shook his head, "wanda no food in hydra"

Before natasha could say something, the girl seemed to be mad at him for telling her nd glared at him.

"I'm sorry sestra" he said.

The girl stopped glaring and nodded. They were as close as possible to eachother which wasn't a surprise to nat.

Steve came in to tell nat that they were about to land but it terrified the twins, more so wanda as her eyes glowed red.

That was new natasha thought so she was enchanced and possibly pietro too.

"Thanks steve" nat said, when he left she turned back to the twins, "It's okay, he won't hurt you I promise we're not the bad guys or anything like hydra"

Wanda seemed not to understand fully what the russian said but pietro did as he nodded a bit, "no hurt wanda" he said with venom in his voice.

"No pietro, nobody will hurt wanda and neither to you, you're both safe now" she said reassuring them as best as she can.

She told the guys earlier that when they land to go before them so the twins won't be even more scared. When she explained to them that they were here, they looked a bit suspicious before wanda nodded a bit.

Natasha was happy that wanda responded to her in the first time but made no comment to it, she put her hand out to them. Wanda looked like she was about to take it before pietro said something which made the girl stop.

Natasha tried ignoring the pain of seeing wanda's sad eyes kept looking at her hand as they walked, she knew pietro was just being protective for his sister and she hoped she would gain their trust. Pietro's seemed to be a lot harder to gain but she knew it was reasonable.

They made it to natasha's floor, tony told her earlier he made them a room on her floor as they seem to be only interacting with her.

She was relived as she saw one big bed, the twins were definitely not going to allow to be separated. Both their eyes widened at the sight of the room, natasha tried swallowing the lump in her throat, wanda was reminding her too much of yelena.

Even though yelena was safe and been with them in the compound for a while now, the guilt still comes up to the redhead. She shook her head slightly, she had to focus on the twins now.

"Do you guys want a bath or shower to get the dirt off you?" she said smiling.

They looked at eachother again having a silent conversation when pietro spoke, "stay together"

Nat nodded, "you won't be separated I promise, there's some fresh clothes here for you but we'll get you guys some more later"

They both nodded.
