It was a week later and nat decided to take her out to the park, the russian already missed hearing wanda's little voice but she wasn't going to push her to talk again. As much as she wanted to hear it and hear the word mama again, it was entirely up to wanda if she wanted to speak.

"Are you ready malyshka we're going soon" she said.

She turned around seeing wanda nodding but pointing to her shoes that were still untied.

"You couldn't do them detka?" she asked softly, wanda had been trying to learn how to tie her laces for a while now.

The girl shook her head with a frown, looking embarrassed. Nat just ruffled her hair, earning a giggle from wanda.

"That's okay baby how about we try again tomorrow hm?"

Wanda nodded with a smile, watching nat doing the last shoelace. She spotted her favorite snacks on the counter and ran towards them with a smirk on her face.

"I got you your favorites yesterday, do you want to choose what to bring with us?" nat said picking her up.

The russian placed her on the counter, putting her hands on the girl's thighs so she won't fall off. It seemed to be a very hard decision for wanda as she kept reaching for one then not grab it.

Nat smiled at the scene, wanda was so focused on trying to think what to bring and she was just happy to see the girl actually act like a kid and not be scared that someone was coming to hurt her again.

She got out of her thoughts by tugging on her shirt and a toothy smile from wanda holding up the snacks she chose.

"Good job sweet girl"

The park was ahead of them and wanda could barely contain her excitement, jumping and basically dragging nat.

Nat chuckled, she was also glad wanda would refuse to walk without holding her hand, she didn't want to lose her somehow. She sighed in relief seeing there was not really anyone at the park, she knew wanda wouldn't want to stay if there were too many people.

"Slow down baby the park isn't going anywhere" she laughed.

Wanda whined and just kept pulling nat's hand to come faster.

They sat on the bench which wanda wasn't too happy since she wanted to play.

"Drink a bit first detka then you can go play"

After she drank, nat put the bottle back in the bag expecting wanda to be near the slide but to her surprise, the girl was still there looking a bit anxious.

"You can go play baby"

Wanda hesitantly grabbed her hand, pointing to the playground infront of them.

"Do you want me to come with you?"

Wanda nodded with a shy smile.

"Well what are we waiting for let's go" nat said grabbing wanda and putting her over her shoulder while the girl was laughing the loudest nat has ever heard.

The slides seemed to be wanda's favorite, they tried the swings and she slightly panicked especially when she couldn't see nat so they just stayed near the slides.

Nat was taking a bunch of photos of the girl who had a smile on her face the entire time. Her phone pinged with a notification coming through from yelena.
