Swara entered her room, she sat on her favourite place, the swing, she was in deep in thoughts about all the things her maa said, she know they are happy with the proposal and want her to agree, even her baba but both of them had only one problem that's staying away, that's only reason for denying, she was engrossed in thoughts when her phone rang, she saw its her bestfriend 'Aashna' and 'Divya'

Swara - hello
Aashna - hey shona how are you,
Divi - kaisa tha first day
Swara - I'm fine, and it was good
Ash - itna thanda answer, what's wrong bro
Swara - nothing
Ash - ohh comeon shona, you don't sound ok to me,
Divi - kuch hua hai kya
Swara sighed and told everything about the proposal
Ash - are you serious, you should have been happy, I'm so happy for you bro, tu pagal hai iss mein itna soch kya rahi hai haan bol de
Divi - Aashu ek sec hold on, Shona tum kya soch rahi ho
Swara - yaar I don't know exactly mujhe kya sochna chahiye, I mean matashree and Dida seem happy and by their look I can understand they want me to say yes for this proposal and somewhere even Gadodia Saab wants the same but you guys know I don't want to stay away from them, even baba is not happy about it
Ash - listen shona we understand but one or the other day you're going to get married
Divi - haan and shona see at the brighter side, you'll stay in Kolkata and you can meet them anytime
Swara - yeah you're right but yaar shaadi is a big responsibility and I don't feel I'm ready for it, all this relationship stuff I was never interested isliye I never had a boyfriend, it's  such a headache atleast relationship mein you can backout when you're fed-up but shaadi is not like that, I have to give my best, soch soch ke hi sar dard ho raha hai
Divi - shona relax take a deep breath (swara followed her), and now listen to me carefully, I know shaadi is a huge responsibility but it's not only for you, you're partner and you both take it equally, it's not whole sole you're duty, and itna zyada soch ne ki zarurat nahi hai, you be the way you're, I think they have liked you for that reason, so stop stressing over it
Ash - exactly bro, dekh ek or baat you know how marwadi samaj is like, just see your sister Ragini, how she's changed totally, woh pehle se thodi thi traditional but ab toh pura makeover hi hoga hai uska, you know most of the marwadi families are like that, too many restrictions, but as far I have heard about Maheshwari's, they are pretty cool, woh kafi chilled out type ke hai, you remember Uttara ( she hmmed), they treat their children equally so just think aise families nahi milegi yaar, tujhe Agarwal's ke jaisi family har jagah milegi but not maheshwari.
Divi - she's right shona and jitna maine sunna hai about the guy Sanskar is totally a decent type kafi sensible and mature hai who can handle you're craziness ( Ash chuckled, Swara rolled her eyes), he's known for his hardwork and dedication.
Swara after listening to them felt a lil clear that it's better, she can't handle a family like Agrawal, and maheshwari are nowhere close to them, she felt them genuine and like her parents cool and homely, she already like them so it's better that way
Swara - I think you guys are right but just last one query I have (they hmmed to let her continue), yeh Maheshwari's ka ghar baadi se kitna dur hai
Ash was like 'what', how's it even related, but Divi can guess why she's asking
Divi - madam I know tu kyu puch rahi hai, unka ghar baadi se 20-25 min ki dur pe hai which means you can come daily to meet your family.
Ash - "oh okay" and chuckled
Swara - great, I have decided, and thank you guys who guys are best
Divi and Ash - "we know that" said and laughed
Divi - or haan hume bhi bolna what you decided, even though we know you're answer
Ash - yeah
Swara - sure chalo guys bye
Swara was cleared now what she will answer, even now she's a lil nervous about shaadi, responsibility and not to forget she doesn't know anything about the guy except for his name 'Sanskar'.
Soon it was dinner time, she came out to find her maa, Dida and baba seated, she too went silently, she had food quietly which is not in her nature but they thought maybe she's thinking about the proposal, so they let it go, she noticed them and smirked mentally. "I want to say something", gaining their attention, they nodded, "maine decide kar liya hai", she stopped to look at them, they were watching curiously, her maa was hoping her to say 'yes', even her Dida, her baba was having his own fight with his mind and heart but he wanted to know her answer. "Bolo shoru idher patience katam ho raha hai" said her Dida looking at her grand daughter who seems enjoying, swara chuckled, "ok ok Dida not teasing more of your patience, I'm ok with the shaadi" said with a smile, her maa and Dida grinned loudly, her baba too smiled genuinely. Dida stuffed her mouth with sweets, her maa hugged her, making her smile wide, swara feed them sweets, her baba was quite but happy too, they are went off to sleep.
Swara was thinking about the events, she was happy as her family is happy, she looked at the watch and sighed. Shekhar was trying to sleep but it felt sleep is far away, he looked beside Shomi was sleeping peacefully, he sighed, he's very happy for his daughter but he don't want to stay away from her, already he had stayed away from her when she went to mumbai and just recently she's back now again she will go away, 'why is it that daughters have to leave their father's house', as he was engrossed in thoughts, he didn't notice someone enter the room quietly, poke him, he jerked, saw Swara, she signed him to be quite, showing shomi who was sleeping, he signed her 'what', she held he's hand to getup, as he got up, she placed the pillows and covered them with duvet, he looked at her and sign her again 'what' she again sign him to be quite and dragged him out. As they went out, Shomi opened her eyes and shaked her head, 'this father daughter duo are crazy and they drive others crazy' she huffed and slept.
They silently went out, Swara put her helmet, shekhar too wore his helmet, she started driving her scooty, they reached their destination, they got down. She went and got ice cream 🍦 for both, she gave him ,he smiled a lil, she started eating, she looked at him, he was engrossed in his thoughts, she nudged him pointing him to eat the ice cream. He composed himself and ate, as they finished eating, "Gadodia Saab aap khush hai", he was snapped, "haan shona", "aap ab mujhse baatein chupane lage ho very bad" said with a sad pout, "nahi Shona aisi koi baat nahi hai", "aap pura dil se khush nahi hai kyunki aap thode se insecure or thode se sad bhi ho", he was not knowing what to say, she took his palm in her hands, "aap sad ho ki mujhe ab dur jana hoga aap se or insecure isliye ho ki aap ko lagta hai ab meri life koi or aane se aap ki importance meri life kam hojayegi hamara rishta shayad ab same nahi rahega am I right", he was a lil embarassed, he nodded lil looking down, she smiled, "Gadodia Saab look at me (he look at her) good, ab aap meri baat dhyan se sunne, aap ko sad hone ki zarurat nahi hai, I agree aap mera address change hoga, main permanently shift ho rahi ho par hu toh issi shehar mein and aap ko pata hai, mere sources ne bataya hai maheshwari ka ghar baadi se 20-25min dur hai, it means main toh roz hi aaungi yaar and hamara routine toh kabhi change nahi hoga, meri morning aap se hi shuru hogi forever, hamari morning walk woh main skip nahi kar rahi ho kabhi na aap ko karne dungi or insecure honi zarurat aapko honi nahi chahiye pata hai kyu (he shaked his head in no) kyunki Gadodia Saab aap sirf meri baba hi nahi aap mere first best friend ho, main meri har baat aapse aake karti ho, my fights, my first crush, mere ko jitne proposal aaye hai sab hi toh aap ko pata hai and I promised you ki mujhe jab pyar hoga sab se pehle main aapko bataungi yaad hai (he nodded with a smile) toh phir meri life koi bhi aaye aapki jagah koi nahi le sakta, hamara rishta feviquick ki mazboot jhod ki tarah hai, very strong and I promise you kabhi change nahi hoga or strong banega" as she ended he had tears welled up, she wiped his tears, "ohh ho yaar maine itna sara gyaan ki baat aapko rulane thodi bola" said huffing, "yeh khushi ke aasu hai, meri choti si shona kab itni badi hogayi pata hi nahi chala" said holding her hands, "shona badi hogi sab ke liye aap ke liye toh wahin rahungi na aapki choti si pyari si shona right" said blinking her eyes cutely, he nodded with a smile, "bas aap aise hi smile karte rehna, meri shaadi ke har function mein, aapki charming smile se toh ladkiyon ki line lag jayegi,hum matashree ko full on jealous feel kara sakte hai, actually yaar mere jane ke baad matashree toh aapko bahut tang karegi I really feel bad for you Gadodia Saab" said with a sad pout, he too played along, "me too" said with a sad pout, both looked at eachother and bursted out laughing. Swara adored his laughing face, finally her baba is happy, his sad face was itching her now she took a relief. They drived back to home, quietly entered in, before he could say anything, she pecked his cheek muttered "good night" and ran to her room, he chuckled went to his room, he saw shomi sleeping, he too laid quietly, he closed his eyes, "mana liya apki shona ne aapko" said shomi, he opened his eyes to find her staring at him, "tumhe kaise pata chala", she kept her head on his chest,"woh kya hai na shekhar babu aapki biwi ho itna toh janti ho aapko or aapki shehzadi ko, kyu", he nodded with a smile, "aap khush ho", he took her in his embrace, "main bahut khush" said with a smile, she too smiled, both slept.Next day, at Maheshwari's, Sujata got call from Shomi saying Swara said yes for the proposal, they were extremely happy and excited for the alliance, when Sanskar was informed, he didn't say anything but he had lot of confusion as he didn't know her at all nor does she, how can she just say yes without knowing him, then he felt just like he said yes for his family maybe even she too. He felt a new positive feeling which he didn't know, but looking at the happy faces of his family he was satisfied. Swara is a go with a flow kinda of girl so it didn't make a huge difference for her not knowing the guy, she felt it's fine will get to know him with the passing of time. Shomi got a call from Sujata, later the day to ask for Tilak ceremony, as it's a good muhurat so they decided it to be held the same day evening at Maheshwari's. As the bride isn't allow due to rituals she stayed back and also her besties Ash and Divi came to meet her, spend time with her and Dida had knee pain so she too stayed back. Shomi informed her in-laws but they denied to come as they had to travel on their yatra for haridwar and hrishikesh, if it was for Ragini they would immediately cancel everything as it was Swara, they came up with escape which was known by all. For Swara it didn't make much of a difference, surely she felt a lil bad at the end of the day, they are her grandparents but she would never show it to anyone specially her family, she was normal, Shekhar felt extremely bad but he couldn't change his parents thinking ever and shomi made him understand it's fine, they'll make their daughters precious moments special. Dida too felt bad for her shoru and shekhar and shomi but she was also happy as if they would be there definitely they would create one or other drama in the functions, and she would never tolerate that and as usual it would lead to fights with the marwadan. Shomi informed to Ragini who was happy, she told her in-laws who were surprised how Maheshwari's can like a girl like Swara, they were curious to know and so they decided to go for the tilak but Adarsh was least interested, so he denied as he was busy. Shomi's cousin brother i.e Shobha bose brother's son who are pretty close to them were too invited to the tilak as bride's brother is needed during the ritual, they had two sons, elder one is ACP Abhishek Basu who is married and other is Ayush younger than Swara doing graduation.
